Donald Trump and Xi Jinping have ended their two day summit in Beijing with lots of talk and no announced breakthroughs. James and Steven break it all down.
Speaking of breaking down, we welcome back National Review senior writer Noah Rothman to talk about the left's embrace of political violence that he covers in his new book, Blood and Progress: A Century of Left-Wing Violence in America. It's a riot.
Hosted by James Lileks and
Steve Hayward, with guest NRNoah Rothman

Good heavens, James was sounding just like me with his "march towards ugliness" - I can rant on that theme for while - though I think I'd date that march as beginning much earlier.

I do miss the sonorous tones of Charles, especially when he's discussing the law. I thought that the Russians had given up Marx and switched to Alexander Dugin. They're still fomenting anti- Jewish conspiracies and blood libels? I thought that it was the Euro-lefty trash, sorry elites, and our midwit lefties and local Hamas supporters who were Jew-hating instigators.
