"The state is powerful and everyone else you know is a moron." And with that from Rob Long we launch into our Rank Punditry™ segment on the propaganda wars being waged in America today.

It's also the First Friday after the First Monday in October and you know what that means - we're checking in on the new Supreme Court term with the Ricochet Podcast's Legal Correspondent John Yoo. We cover Mr. Justice Thomas' new found vocalness from the bench and how the conservative wing is now the center of attention.

Then we switch gears to China and the CCP's testing of Joe Biden and how that is going to play out over Taiwan.

Yeah, it's bad, but perhaps it can't be fixed at this point.

Sorry! (and that took much longer than a few minutes).

It is now fixed and re-uploaded. If you have downloaded the unmixed version of the show to your mobile device, please delete that version and re-download it to receive the corrected version. If you are playing the show from the player above, reload the page and you will get the corrected version.

We apologize for the inconvenience (and added another outtake at the end of the show to make re-downloading the show worth your time).

There is too much private and public debt, globally, to embrace scarcity for ostensible environmental reasons.

The United States tax receipts are now lower than the combined outlays of Social Security, Medicare, and the interest on the debt and it's not going to go away.

If cold fusion doesn't happen, they are going to print money to pay for it.

We didn't cover these things with progressive taxation, so now we are going to cover them with regressive inflation. They also can't let any asset bubble pop.
