The Ricochet Podcast is back, and jam-packed with chatter on sex, comedy, food and fun... and the lack thereof we find among our postmodern youth. Noah Rothman, author of The Rise of the New Puritans, returns to discuss the war on fun in America along with the war on Hamas in Gaza. Plus, James, Rob and Steve Hayward show their age as they canvass the finer points of flag etiquette.
- Sound from this week's open: ABC’s Terry Moran with Sen. Dick Durbin’s comments on the Justice Alito flag “controversy.”
Hosted by James Lileks,
Rob Long, and
Steve Hayward, with guest NRNoah Rothman

Although a passing comment after the main event I would like add to what James and Rob said about St. Louis. It is a city that with Detroit is a an upside down flag of urban decay. Still having visited it many times I have always found it a pleasant and friendly place with surprisingly good food and an outstanding preservation of 19th century houses-"the painted ladies" of Lafayette Square. As with any American urban environment there is a need to be vigilant but St Louis is worth the risk.

We should have a Hetero Pride flag, perhaps showing a nuclear family with kids and then make the Left decide which takes precedence.
