Ricochet’s beloved former editor Mollie Hemingway is back with a new book, Alito: The Justice Who Reshaped the Supreme Court and Restored the Constitution. We’re so thrilled, in fact, that we couldn’t even keep Peter Robinson away. So Mollie leads our embarrassment of hosts through her exclusive scoop on the Supreme Court’s most enigmatic justice. Tune in for an in-depth report covering everything Alito—from the political dramas beginning with his confirmation to the leak of his best-known Dobbs opinion, and analysis of the particulars of his legal philosophy, his mastery over oral proceedings, and ultimately his influence over the increasingly originalist branch of government.

And with investigative journalism in mind, our quartet digs into reports about rampant Medicaid fraud in Ohio, and James tries to pin the panelists down on their stance on aliens, UFOs and G-man plots. The gang also guffaws at the Virginia Supreme Court's redistricting rebuff and manages to find quibblible claims against the common understanding of invasive species.

Hosted by Charles C. W. Cooke, James Lileks, Peter Robinson, and Steve Hayward, with guest MHMollie Hemingway

I gave it a "like" just for the image alone.

    ". . . Mollie Hemingway . . . we couldn’t even keep Peter Robinson away."

So that's what it takes to get Peter back. What bait can we use to get James, Peter, and Rob together for the next centennial podcast?

This has to be the best episode that I've listened. With the full cast of character, along with the inestimable Peter Robinson, the semi-knowledgeable was first rate. And then add in Molly Hemingway, what could be better? I would have asked her if the tenor of the Court has changed in their collegiality after the Dobbs slow walk and attempted assasinations. I note that Peter didn't address the UFO question at the end. After all he interviewed Carlos Eire of "They Flew" about historically verified saintly levitations and bilocations. I read the book and I believe.

Hey Charlie, we have kudzu here in Ohio, which few people would classify as the South.
