If you have access to the internet, you've likely seen a clip of Scott Jennings acting as a lone voice of reason on a noisy CNN panel. This week, he joins Steve and Charles to discuss his new book, A Revolution of Common Sense, an account of President Trump's fight against a whole lot of kinds of crazy.

Plus, Cooke and Hayward consider Australia's latest bid against gun ownership, suss out Susie Wiles' slip-up with the press, and marvel at the legacy of another kid from one of the other boroughs, Norman Podhoretz of Brooklyn, who passed this week at 95.

My family went through this crap about 20 years ago. Don't ever talk to a reporter unless you don't have any other option. They are going to lie or not really pay attention to what you said. Same thing with the police. If there's no upside for you and you can keep your conscious clear, just get away from them.

I am extremely relieved that Scott Jennings is working for Salem.

I heard a republican from Kentucky call to talk radio. He really liked Andy Beshear. I can't remember all of the details, but it mostly mounted to some government central planning during an emergency. I think it's really unfortunate that Scott says he's a big liberal. Everybody thinks they can central plan everything and it looks good until it doesn't and then they do more.

Did you really use the phrase “Normal campus mass shooting event”?

Good point; I had my statistical categories mixed up. I should have said it was not the modal campus mass shooting event.

When looking at a potential Presidential candidate, the primary consideration for Democrat insiders comes down to:

Is this a pliable Leftist we can sell to the American people as a moderate?

Like Biden, he need have no other qualifications. They’re looking for a figurehead, not a President.
