Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.

Virginia's Attorney General, Jason Miyares, joins Heritage Foundation President Dr. Kevin Roberts for a hard-hitting discussion on the war against Big Tech and its effects on the younger generation.
With parallels to Big Tobacco, Miyares emphasizes the need for accountability. The conversation tackles the youth mental health crisis, parental roles in the digital age, and Miyares' pivotal role in a multi-state lawsuit against Meta. Dive deep into the intricacies of regulating AI – this conversation is a no-holds-barred exploration of today's most pressing issues.
Attorney General Jason Miyares' story doesn't start in Virginia, but in Havana, Cuba when his mother, Miriam Miyares, fled communist Cuba, penniless and homeless. She immigrated to Virginia and raised Jason to appreciate freedom, fairness, and justice for all. He previously served as a prosecutor in the Virginia Beach Commonwealth's Attorney Office, where he worked alongside law enforcement to keep the community safe.
In 2015, almost fifty years to the day that she fled Cuba, Miriam was able to vote for her son Jason Miyares to represent her in the Virginia House of Delegates. After serving for three terms in the state legislature, he ran and was elected the 48th Attorney General of Virginia in November 2021.
