The Left’s Disturbing Luigi Mangione Fascination

Inez Stepman of the Independent Women's Forum is in for Jim on the Tuesday edition of 3 Martini Lunch. Today, Inez and Greg break down an MSNOW host being horrified that House Speaker Mike Johnson would say our rights come from God and not government, the disgusting Mangione fangirls who celebrate the murder of a health insurance CEO, Iran's stalling tactics on a deal to end the war, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom's "break the glass" scenario in California politics. New episodes every weekday. 👉 Subscribe to the show so you never miss a moment. Massive Immigrant Shift to GOP, Organized Chaos in LA, Hawley’s Wage Hike Plan

Inez Stepman of the Independent Women’s Forum fills in for Jim today on 3 Martini Lunch. Join Inez and Greg as they review a CNN poll showing immigrant voters shifting significantly to the GOP, address the clear organization present in the LA riots, and ponder the effects of Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley’s call for a minimum wage hike. First, Inez and Greg analyze new CNN polling that shows a dramatic 40-point swing toward Republican immigration policies among legal immigrant voters over the past four years. Inez adamantly presents the recent situation with the LA riots as a prime example of why people do not trust leftist immigration policy. Next, they examine the LA riots as a return to coordinated, violent left-wing activism. Inez also explains the distorted logic behind the rioters waving Mexican flags. And they marvel at how many people on the left and beyond openly admit they don't want federal immigration laws enforced. Finally, they unpack Sen. Josh Hawley’s proposal to raise the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour through his "Higher Wages for American Workers Act." Greg argues the plan ignores basic economic principles, while Inez notes many employers already offer similar wages. She says the real danger lies in Hawley’s support for the PRO Act, which could reduce flexibility for freelancers and remote workers.

Musk Blasts ‘Beautiful Bill,’ Jeffries Vows to Dox ICE Agents, Dems Still Devalue Female Athletes

Inez Stepman of the Independent Women's Forum fills in for Jim today on 3 Martini Lunch. Join Inez and Greg as they delve into Elon Musk’s anger over the Big Beautiful Bill, Hakeem Jeffries’ plans to dox ICE members, and the recent surplus of news about trans athletes stealing achievements from female athletes. First, Inez and Greg discuss Musk’s frustration over what he considers "a disgusting abomination" - the GOP's Big Beautiful Bill - because it is not nearly serious enough about cutting spending. Inez agrees that we need much more fiscal restraint, but she supports the bill because of its provisions on border safety, rooting out indoctrination in schools, and more. Next, they are horrified at House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ promise to dox ICE members for alleged overreach. Anyone responsible for deporting potential members of drug cartels has every right to protect their identity in the process. Inez slams the move as reckless and unconstitutional. Finally, they spotlight the increasing number of cases where male athletes identifying as girls are awarded titles, scholarships, and other opportunities over the girls. Inez argues for a firm definition of sex in Title IX to avoid future Democratic majorities from enacting egregious reinterpretations of the law.

McConnell Won’t Run Again, More Hamas Horrors, DOGE Cuts & ‘Malicious Compliance’

Inez Stepman of the Independent Women's Forum fills in for Jim on the 3 Martini Lunch podcast. Join Inez and Greg as they discuss Sen. Mitch McConnell announcing he won't run again, the latest unspeakable atrocities committed by Hamas, and how federal agencies are making DOGE-related budget cuts painful for the public. First, they analyze Mitch McConnell’s decision to retire after 42 years in the Senate and 18 years as GOP leader, and they assess his performance. They credit McConnell for defending free speech, blocking left-wing policies, and confirming conservative judicial nominees. However, they criticize his failure to address federal spending and his lack of progress on conservative priorities during Republican control of the Senate. Next, Inez and Greg express their outrage over the latest atrocities perpetrated by Hamas, including a gruesome ceremony involving the return of hostages' remains and reports detailing how the two young brothers who were brutally murdered. In addition, the remains of their mother, Shiri Bibas, were excluded from the return to Israel. With Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowing reprisals, Inez and Greg reflect on the critical details of the Bibas family's abduction and the role of the Red Cross in facilitating the spectacle we saw this week. Inez and Greg discuss government-run sites making DOGE-related budget cuts as painful as possible for visitors. They highlight three instances of "malicious compliance" and recall past government shutdown tactics used by Democrats to needlessly inconvenience the public.

Trump Targets the Cartels, Trump vs. Zelensky, Congestion Toll Clash & Cuomo’s Return

Inez Stepman of the Independent Women's Forum fills in for Jim today. Join Inez and Greg for 3 Martini Lunch as they analyze the U.S. decision to designate cartels and gangs as terrorist organizations, President Trump’s sharp criticism of Ukrainian President Zelensky, and the latest developments on congestion tolls in New York City, where Andrew Cuomo's political ambitions are taking shape. First, they commend the State Department for labeling MS-13, Tren de Aragua, and several cartels as terrorist organizations. They discuss why this designation matters, the impact it may have, and how it aligns with Trump’s national security strategy. Next, they break down President Trump’s strong criticism of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. They examine where Trump’s rhetoric diverges from the facts and how how Trump most likely believes this statement will help bring the war to an end. And while Trump and others have suggested possible Ukrainian concessions to reach a deal, Greg and Inez also consider what demands should be placed on Russia. Finally, they dive into two major news items in New York City, where Inez resides. They assess the battle between the Trump administration and Gov. Kathy Hochul over congestion tolls. Plus, they react to reports that former Gov. Andrew Cuomo is likely to announce his run for mayor before the month ends.

Trump’s Marching Orders to Congress, Trump’s IVF Order, Why Young Men Moved Towards Trump

Inez Stepman of the Independent Women's Forum fills in for Jim on this episode of the 3 Martini Lunch podcast. Join Inez and Greg as they discuss Trump’s legislative priorities, his controversial executive order on in vitro fertilization (IVF), and the role COVID played in shifting young men towards Trump in the 2024 elections. First, Inez and Greg break down Trump’s call for a single reconciliation bill to tackle border policy, energy, defense, and tax cuts. Trump is aligning with the House strategy, while the Senate currently plans to divide the issues into two separate bills. Inez explains how this demonstrates what Trump learned from his legislative approach eight years ago and why he’s likely to get what he wants in the end. Next, they discuss Trump’s executive order aimed at making in vitro fertilization more accessible and more affordable. They both agree taxpayers shouldn’t be footing the bill for IVF treatments. Greg says while IVF provides hope to married couples struggling with infertility, it also results in the destruction of human life in many cases.

Biden Blocked on Title IX, GOP Stumbling on Abortion, Left Redefines ‘Democracy’

Inez Stepman of the Independent Women's Forum and host of the "High Noon" podcast is in for Jim. Today, Inez and Greg welcome a federal judge strongly rejecting the Biden administration's rewrite of Title IX, wonder if Republicans will be able to punch back effectively on abortion anytime soon, and laugh as the left says election results they don't like are a threat to democracy. First, they applaud the federal court ruling that the Biden administration's efforts to redefine "sex" in Title IX to enshrine the left's gender identity agenda and evisceration of due process rights clearly guts the intent of Title IX and also violates the constitutional requirement for such changes to come through Congress. They also note Thursday's Supreme Court decision dodging the merits of the case on the FDA and abortifacients and consider whether Republicans are ever going to get out of the political starting blocks on this issue nearly two years after the Dobbs decision. Inez says Americans are suddenly having to exercise political muscles that had atrophied since Roe v. Wade and Republicans were caught flat-footed by their own victory. Finally, they shake their heads as leftists in Europe and the U.S. try to argue that victories by "far right" parties in Europe are a "threat to democracy," noting how the left now casually labels any result of policy they don't like as imperiling democracy.
