He's optimistic because he never has to work another day in his life, has absolutely zero responsibilities, jets around the world on a whim, and still thinks Cheers was actually a good show.

I thought Cheers was a great show. But I think you are on to something with your other points.

I haven't listened to this one, but after all these years of listening to Rob on GLoP Culture and The Ricochet Podcast I have never gotten the impression that Rob is that well off. I didn't know he jets around the world on a whim, I've heard him talk about driving cross country in a Subaru. Does Rob Long reveal in this podcast that he is incredibly rich?

“Online resources estimate Rob’s net worth to be $5 Million.” https://factsbuddy.com/rob-long/

Which seems very modest for a Hollywood TV writer/producer active for decades.

Obviously Rob voted for Hilary and Biden. Frankly this wasn't too insightful.
