Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.

In this episode, we go deep on 2024 presidential primaries with Mike Murphy, who has worked on 26 gubernatorial and US Senate races across the country.
Murphy was a top strategist for John McCain, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He’s a political analyst for NBC and MSNBC. He’s co-host of the critically acclaimed "Hacks on Tap" podcast. Mike is also co-director of the University of Southern California’s Center for the Political Future.

I was really trying to take Mike Murphey seriously. What's this guy got to say? Both Trump and Biden vulnerable? Well yes but what is this guy's insight? That is until the Gretchen Whitmer comment that she would beat on Trump like a drum... For this cycle, any savvy political operative would push an attack on her aggressive covid policy and knock her out in the first round. DeSantis's popularity in his last election supports this point with the amount of otherwise Democratic voters opting for him; primarily for how he was the opposite of Gretchen. The case might be different in the next cycle when people have forgotten and don't remember covid policy quite as much. I'm thinking along the lines how Biden had to drop out and was easily beaten in his past, but in his winning cycle no one brought up his past.
Not to get too nasty, but what would you expect from someone working for John McCain, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Arnold Schwarzenegger other than someone taking the award for lifetime RINO achievement In the worst most unprincipled way... I mean gag me with a spoon... FURTHERMORE what a loosing streak, other than Arnold... lol
Mike Murphy is not only a waste of time but also in my 3 persons I'd like to see never "called back"...
PS, not a Trump supporter. It just seems like the best of us are not getting into politics...
