    The Donald never lacks for copy, ... he uses Twitter so much I'm waiting for him to claim he invented it!

    This has to be an allusion to AlGore's claim to have invented the internet, right? But was AlGore's claim based on his heavy use of the internet? I've never heard anything about AlGore's use of the internet.

    Salena Zito often writes about how much she drives her car in the course of her (brilliant) reporting. Does that mean Henry Olsen is waiting for Salena Zito to claim she invented the automobile?

    This seems nothing more than a gratuitous dig at Bad Orange Man.

    Oh well, it's early in the podcast, maybe it will get better. Let's hear from his first guest, Peter Baker. @1:30:

    Just even in the last couple of days, his comments with regard to Attorney General Barr, the Roger Stone case, and his feelings about the Justice System are pretty important moments - I think something we've been debating for the three years of his Presidency - what's the proper role for a President when it comes to law enforcement matters and is this President being subjected to unfair law enforcement matters; at least that's his point of view.

    Trump's comments with regard to AG Barr? What comments? No one mentions. Henry Olsen immediately cites "reports from unnamed sources that say he considered resigning," and then invites Peter Baker to speculate about Barr's motivations regarding his future legacy. Peter Baker thinks that's a great question.

    Rufus, I know you've reassured me that Henry Olsen can be great, but why is he so out of touch on his podcast? I'm a minute and a half into the podcast, and Henry Olsen - sage of poll interpretation - is joining in with the New York Times to speculate on reports from unnamed sources. Isn't this the sort of thing that should earn a journalism student a failing grade?

    I also don't recall any debate in the New York Times over the topic of whether Trump and his campaign associates have been treated fairly by law enforcement. Peter Baker provides nothing.

    Peter Baker claims that Trump fired Jeff Sessions. Jeff Sessions resigned.

    Why should I believe anything that these guys say?

    I really do want to hear insightful analysis of polling, which I thought is the raison d'etre of this podcast, but it's tough to get through the bool sheet just to find out if any such insightful analysis is offered later on.

    Yes. Cut the speculation way down and stick with the facts as much as possible. It really would make a better, more interesting podcast.
