Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three good martinis related to the U.S. Senate. First, they welcome the pursuit of justice in what appears to be a lot of evidence against New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez and his wife on bribery and other accusations. They're also glad to see Pennsylvania Republicans seemingly uniting around David McCormick in the tough fight to unseat incumbent Sen. Bob Casey, Jr. next year. Finally, they're pleased that some prominent Democrats are joining most Republicans in demanding that Majority Leader Chuck Schumer reinstate the dress code on the Senate floor.

I hope when you were talking about political corruption in Texas in reference to Paxton that you were talking about the corrupt impeachment indictment that was brought against Paxton. Because if you listened to the testimony it became clear that the accusations against Paxton came from the same well as the Trump Russian corruption accusations. The poisoned water was drawn by different politicians, but the accusations against Paxton had as much substance as those in the Steele dossier.

Otherwise, it proves if you repeat a lie often enough people believe it, even when sworn testimony proves it's a lie. Texas is a lot less red than it appears on the surface. There is a corrupt bargain between liberal Republicans and leftist Democrats to form a uniparty coalition that really runs the Texas House. We are planning to open RINO season in Texas this December. Runs through March, no bag limit.
