I've said for years that impact is for people too lazy to learn the difference between affect and effect.
We missed Peter to pour water on the Artemis launch.

“The tram will be here momentarily.”
That actually works for me, a well-read Southerner of a certain age, and for Merriam-Webster, an American dictionary (entertaining usage note here:

Its meaning depends upon the location of the tram. If the tram is here, it will be here only “for a moment”. If the tram is not here, it will be here “in a moment”.
It would annoy me if they announced, “The tram will be here momentarily, momentarily” because I would not be able to tell whether they meant “The tram will be here for a moment in a moment” or “The tram will be here in a moment for a moment.”

So, I'm not the only person who looked that up after listening to this episode. Maybe British usage is different than American.

Another podcast where Bill Barr is praised as a promoter of conservative first principles under the first Donald Trump administration, without mentioning the facts that Bill Barr knew that
* the FBI had the Hunter Biden laptop in October 2019;
* the FBI had authenticated the Hunter Biden laptop no later than December 2019; and
* the Hunter Biden laptop contains evidence of over 600 felonies, many involving Joe Biden.
Despite this knowledge, Attorney General Bill Barr said and did nothing as members of the intelligence committee - including some actively employed Justice Department actors - illegally interfered with a presidential election.
Bill Barr is a shockingly, deeply dishonest person. By logical extension, every informed commentator who praises Bill Barr without mentioning Barr's shockingly deep dishonesty is engaging in deeply dishonest commentary.
Mark Steyn is absolutely correct: the entire United States justice system is corrupt top to bottom and should be abolished. With no justice system at all, at least we might save some money while justice is never served for conservatives.
