Joe Biden is adamant about staying in the race. It’s a fitting move for the leader of a party that has lost its long-held advantage in voter identification. Beyond the Polls host Henry Olsen joins James, Rob and Steve Hayward to dive into the Democratic Party’s dilemma, the global political realignment, and the here-to-stay Populist Era.
– This week’s audio: A trio of Biden gems in a week full of them.

Seems like Mr. Olsen thinks the old Bush ‘prudent’ Republican Party is coming back at some point, ain’t gonna happen , that party is as dead as a doornail.
James referencing Walberswick reminded me of my many years in the UK and the long trek on the A11 through Suffolk on the way to the Norfolk coast. Walberswick if I recall correctly is part of Southwold which I always thought of as Hampstead on Sea, a very arty and literary sort of place. There are other places to visit in East Anglia as well such as the pier in Cromer, the old seaside town of Sheringham, and Norwich, the county town of Norfolk. Many thanks for reminding me of those times which is a refreshing counter to the UK’s current malaise. Finally, as a subscriber to The Telegraph(UK) that James mentioned I would unreservedly recommend it to my fellow Riccocheteers-.
More on James’ trip on this week’s Diner podcast.
I can’t get the link for this podcast to work. All the other podcasts I have tried seem ok.
Henry Olsen make a common mistake starting about 34:05 (without ads): he means flouting, not flaunting.
