While Peter’s venturing about the real America, James is vacationing between the Hudson and East rivers so he can meet up with his pal Rob–and, more importantly!–fellow Ricochet members for our first pub crawl! We hope you won’t miss it; but don’t worry, we’ve got more events to come. (There’s even a surprise announcement for our next one herein!)

First up is a man who needs no introduction. The indispensable Byron York is here to give us an up-close take on the blamey Biden administration, and how the Dobbs leak might change the political playing field. He’s followed by Rich Goldberg, who’s been keeping track of the world of cryptocurrency since before it became as chaotic as it has recently.

Our lovable hosts also delve into baby formula; the gamer scene’s political shyness; developments in Ukraine; and they say a not-so-especially-fond farewell to Jen Psaki.

Byron is wrong about people being in favor of keeping Roe v. Wade.   In reality, people think that overturning Roe will outlaw 100% of abortions and that is unpopular.   Most people, like 80% want abortion to be legal in the beginning and then not legal once a heartbeat is detected.   The Dems have done a good job of brainwashing most folks on the legalities of Roe.

In that case especially, the leak may have been a favor, since it allows a couple more months to debunk all of that nonsense, before the midterm elections.

That and, how do those people think abortion will still be legal in the People’s Republic of California et al, if overturning Roe did actually outlaw 100% of abortions?

The President can’t fire the Chief of Staff because the Chief of Staff is not in his employ. The President is in the employ of the Chief of Staff.

Also, I suspect that Biden doesn’t know any news about the country or the world other than what his staff and his wife tell him.

@DongG  If by ‘people’ you mean that % of Americans who are willfully illiterate and/or choose to ignore the Constitution if/when they read it and/or simply fall in line with the sentiments of the NYT and NPR and MSNBC and CNN.

    THEN I agree.

But…in reality….the rest of us will take a deep breath and even read that Clarence Thomas said the LEAK is NOT the final opinion of each and every member of the SCOTUS.  NOW if the decision is 4-4-1 or 5-4 to uphold ROE —THEN you’ll see a nascent revolution mature into a Longer/Hotter Summer than any of us anticipate.

Biden does whatever the cabal of leftists running the Administration tells him to do and the cabal does whatever the Twitterati tells them to do. This is glaringly obvious.

I’m curious why Rob thinks the Biden administration isn’t destroying the country on purpose. He says in the opening section that he might sleep better if he knew this was being done on purpose. It seems to be. On day one Biden undid Trump’s energy policies. That wasn’t a mistake. That was willful.

Obama wanted to fundamentally transform the country and his team seems to have a big hand in this administration. Make America Great Again wasn’t a flippant campaign slogan. Obama and Biden don’t want it great and Trump stood in the breach. Sadly he took arrows from both sides.

“Biden undid Trump’s energy policies” to Save the World.  Damaging the US economy and emboldening Vladimir Putin are trivial matters by comparison.

The Far Left believes that America is the chief source of the world’s problems. If you believe that, and some of the people manipulating Biden do, it makes sense to make America weaker.

Someone will have links but the short version is: a photographer’s photo was used in a main feed post. The photographer doesn’t like conservatives so he sued more as punishment than concern about copyright. Did I get it right?

Pretty much.  The photo was all over the internet, but the photographer only sued Ricochet.  (Or actually, Silent Cal Productions.)

Meanwhile, I think they would get better results from a GoFundMe effort, than from trying to get maybe 1,000 or 2,000 new members, especially if they’re offering a half-price deal.

Unless maybe if they have a backer who is willing to pay the fine if they get 1,000 or 2,000 new members, or something.

    A. Get US Rep Tom Emmer on the podcast. He has been doing a lot of work on how the US Government will interact with the crypto currency industry.

    B. I’ve got some friends who spent many months in Ismail Ukraine adopting children. They say the world doesn’t realize how important this southern Ukraine is. Most of  the agricultural products get processed and exported in this area. It’s spring, is anyone planting?  If they do, the area that processes and ships that product has been devastated.
