Rob's back!

He takes a break from Biblical Greek to catch up with a few of his favorite laypeople. He gives James and Steve his early impressions of the coursework and classmates at Princeton Theological Seminary. Then the trio moves onto our favorite events since we've last seen the future father: the post-Brat Summer letdown for Harris and the left's resurrection of their favorite f-word for Republicans; the meltdown over Trump's shift at McDonald's; and the Daily Wire's latest hit documentary—candid camera done right!

- Soundclip from this week's open: Matt Walsh and Robin DiAngelo's first meeting in Am I Racist?

Hosted by James Lileks, Rob Long, and Steve Hayward

Reports today from someone who worked with her in the DAs office that she was rarely in court and she was never the lead attorney when she was.

I don't understand how you pass the bar and then don't study anything after that. She doesn't read the briefings prepared for her and then she blames the staff. Willie Brown gets her on all of those insurance committees and do you think she knows anything about it?

I heard someone say the same thing. She's not intellectually curious. You can't be in certain jobs if you're like that.

So her knowledge of the law is a bit rusty and she’s probably never read the Constitution (Hey, Democrats don’t ‘support and defend it’ anyway.). At least she knows a lot about foreign affairs and national security stuff from being a state attorney general.

I very much enjoyed Rob's report on his first weeks of seminary, and I hope we get more such reports on occasion.
