The forces against free speech are at again! Whether or not you’ve heard of NewsGuard or the Global Disinformation Index, rest assured that they’re intently interested in where you get your information. Joining Peter, Rob and James today is David DesRoisers, Publisher of RealClearPolitics.com, whose scrupulously down-the-middle site was flagged by the groups above as a ‘disinformation site,’ and has lost a great many advertisers as a result. David’s here to remind us of the threats institutions like these are to a free press and a free society. (Plus, he’s inviting you to the inaugural Samizdat Prize Gala!)
The guys also have thoughts CPAC and Google Gemini.

DesRoisers was trying to red-pill Rob today. What he said comports with recent interviews with Michael Benz on the information war being waged on Americans by America. I don’t think any of the hosts really understand the implications of what was said. We are in deep trouble.
In my defense, I think my remarks at the end of the show about the Gemini AI debacle suggest that I do understand the implications, and the intentions.
One problem with “putting the bad guys in jail” is looking at who currently would get to decide who “the bad guys” are.
They would be looking at US.
The Samizdat Prize is a great honor. Bravo to the winners.
Some years ago I googled myself and was pleased to see that based on all the clues it could gather, the Brain Blob seemed pretty sure I was on death row in a Florida prison. Now it occurs to me that if Google thinks I’m in prison for committing horrible crimes, Google Gemini would certainly assume I’m a white man, or even a white supremacist.
“News Guard got seed funding from the State Department, which is an obvious first amendment violation.”
One topic that drives me crazy about COVID-19, is the fact that the vaccine didn’t stop the spread. They technically said that around April of when the shot came out, but it was real quiet. I remember, waiting for the spread to go down in April and May, and it actually went up in some areas, including Maine, which had the highest participation rate for the shots and the mask. The feds were really worried about them running out of medical labor, etc. I hate all of these people. I never saw this coming with public health. They are all effectively plantation owners. They lied and they lied and they lied.
Centralized power is worthless. Don’t use it unless you don’t have any other options.
It’s good to see Dr Jay to be celebrated.
We also need to see Fauci and his bureaucrats pay a price.
In your defense, we are all playing catch-up here. We saw the Fundamental Transformation of America™ happening in our medical system and schools, but did not notice that our well-funded Department of State/CIA/military intelligence regime change system was pointed inwards instead of outwards. Bring back Smith-Mundt!
Not really all of us. There are quite a few people who get to say “told you so!”
Why does one need to search Gemini when you could just use the Google search? What is even the point?
I am skeptical of the depths of your skepticism ;) You and I just need to convince everyone else that this is really important.
