After getting a review of new and unpronounceable whiskies out of the way (such as the one posted here) along with the miseries of the week just past that compel several drams of whisky, “Lucretia” and I had planned to talk about an obscure but profound essay from way back in 1973 that explores the serious philosophical roots of how today’s progressive left is best explained by the left’s formal commitment to snobbery. No really—we were! We had a whole seminar on “snobbish snobology” ready to go (is there a more fitting angle for single-malt whisky fanatics?), but we got diverted to—what else?—the election postgame show.

Among our questions and issues: What needs to be surveyed to make out a prima facia case of election fraud? And what kind of evidence is necessary to prove it? Given the low and continually falling trust in our leaders and institutions, is it any wonder that people (including apparently one-third of Democrats according to one poll) don’t think this election was on the up-and-up? We kick around the possibilities, and then ask our listeners: would you like us to do a live taping of the podcast next week? We could have a virtual happy hour under the new lockdown, though of course you’d have to bring your own whisky. Let us know.

I can say definitively that at least 1/12th of your Ricochet listeners love you both! Happy Thanksgiving!

Not sure how you are counting heads for listenership, but I vote for having Lucretia behind a screen.

Hmm…You both failed to ask what I think is an extraordinarily important question: While Rudy has not been bothered by the if not ‘loose screw’ image recently–(loosening screw ?)— I am totally perplexed as to WHY folks with the reputation of Sidney Powell and Lin Wood are going Wayyy wayyyy out on the ‘if I’m wrong it’s career suicide” limb with the absolute  declarative sentences that have characterized their version of the vote. If they’re right they are great American heroes…if not they will rightfully be covered in ignominy. People who DO know the aforementioned principals and who remain admirers of them through at least yesterday is what triggers my repeating the question…

Either way, the answer will be brutal.

And,YES—Happy Thanksgiving. (We’re still waiting for the RSVPs from the Cuomos and Newsoms—will advise.)

I figured out who Lucretia is, and assume anyone else who tried to has also.  So, probably doesn’t matter if she is behind a screen.  But, I vote to keep her secret for fun.

So I should believe in the existence of the Hammer now, how?

Another episode of no holds barred Lucretia! Lucretia for president in 2024! I think this episode and Lucretia’s being at the end of her patience with the left and never trumpers resonates with me because I’m beginning to look at this election as the most epic episode of gaslighting over 72 million people in the history of the world. My gut instincts tell me that something is definitely off and fishy about the whole thing, but I’m repeatedly being cudgeled by most of the media, government officials on both sides of the aisle, and social media/big tech to shut up, don’t ask questions, don’t demand recounts, audits, or investigations, accept it, and unify (which actually means shut up).

Whatever you both decide to do for a live taping of the podcast next week is fine with me. I’ll be visiting family and may not be able to tune for the live version. Either way, Happy Thanksgiving!

Well said.  I’m trying to figure out what’s going on over here.

That’s truly yeoman’s work you’re doing there. Perhaps because it’s late and I’m tired, but my eyes glaze over at the sheer length of that post. As a Wisconsinite, I try to at least keep up with what’s happening in my home state, mainly through here and here.

Oh, too much to keep track of!

But I may look into several of these links and include them in my post!

    Thank you.

Live broadcast would be interesting, might set the Old Crow aside and drink some Redbreast single pot still (whatever that is) Irish Whiskey.

… with regards to Tucker Carlson. I say this without watching him and just kind of understand things from all the news. I think I agree with him on criticizing Sidney Powell. In general, I think if you say you going to ‘release the Kraken’ – you’d better have a Kraken to unleash. Right now, it certainly looks more like she’s unleashing a few annoying insects.

2024 will take care of itself. The epic freak out over the next republican candidate always escalates. I wonder if Donald Trump will ever get to earn his “strange new respect”.

The Clinton campaign set some new lows in 2016, for example, organizing counter protests at Trump rallies. Even forcing an event to be cancelled over the threats of violence. (in Chicago) People where hurt during these protests – including police. To mu complete disappointment there doesnt seem to have been a RICO investigation into this clear violations of the first amendment, by intimidation. Its a real shame that nobody went to jail for it – because you know the tactic will be back in 2024.
