Quarantined!

Every other faculty lounge in America may be closed, but Professors Epstein and Yoo are still showing up to work. On this episode: what are the legal ramifications of the coronavirus? Can Catholic charities be excluded from providing adoption services because of their refusal to place children with same-sex couples? Is there any hope for President Trump’s libel lawsuits against the New York Times and Washington Post? Is encouraging an illegal immigrant to stay in the country a crime? Is the Supreme Court about to make a game-changing decision on abortion? And is getting hit by a foul ball about to be grounds for a lawsuit? All that plus the professors struggle with virtual classes, dish on tell-all books, and continue their annual tradition of making the nation’s most unreliable World Series predictions.

Thank you John Yoo for letting me know that McRibs are coming back!  I checked at the Flagstaff Milton Road McDonalds, but it isn’t here yet.

I bet anything that a McRib and a Shamrock Shake can be used to ward off COVID-19. Although the down side is that John Yoo would invade your social space. Great podcast as usual gentlemen. I especially agree with Professor Epstein about letting the parents decide if they want to use Catholic services or not. This really is not an hurting anyone and protects our cherished religious freedom.

Well, John, Philly fans are allowing a virus to stop a 76ers game.

And this episode is #131, not #33. Is there some automatic counter that’s malfunctioning?

There’s two competing systems going on here. One is Ricochet’s, the other is the Hoover Institution which has taken over production of the show.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification. Ricochet’s system is obviously better of course.
