NYC mayor Mamdani admits he gets most of his housing knowledge from Cea Weaver - the wackadoodle he appointed to his tenant advocate. She’s the one who believes home ownership is white supremacy. Here is a group video where she says the goal is to use rent control to make “housing worthless.” No kidding. “We don’t want [housing] to be an investment vehicle."

Now, some may wonder how lefties can hold this idea in their heads at the same time as they decry the fact that wealth is concentrated at the top of the pyramid. Most Americans' single largest asset is their house! But Lefties want to make it worthless. They want to “municipalize” the private housing stock.

It’s all here.

She is priceless. Talk about pulling back the curtain.

They “say” they are communist so we should take them at their word. Whether they are successful they intend revolution.

Rent control has ruined NYC housing. The vacancy rate is less than 2%. Prices are high and the quality is low. These commies will make it worse and the badness may last for a generation, if they are successful in harming property rights.

Speaking of pulling back the curtain:

And Now Trump Is Taking Over Defense Contractors

The good thing is that when Mamdani wants to take a few days off Trump can cover for him and vice versa. Nobody will be able to tell the difference.

Just out of curiosity, why should the shareholders of defense contractors -businesses who live on government contracts - enrich themselves at the taxpayers’ expense. Because that’s where the $ for those dividends and buybacks originate. It’s the same thing as the $10,000 toilet seat.

So I read the quite short article from National Review. The author is complaining about Trump's order in which he made the demand that before the shareholders make a profit that the company provide a superior product on time and on budget. OK. Not sure where the issue is here.

I'm sure that there are a number of folks here that will attempt to school me on why there is a problem with demanding that a company provide a product on time and for the price quoted per the contract. I'm willing to listen but, just for the record, it will be a hard sell.
