Thanks, I’ll order it now. Love DM, even though his latest flap with Dave Smith took me aback a little.
As I like both those guys, I saw it as a long, drawn out misunderstanding that could have been settled with a little patience in the beginning. A little better defining of terms, and a little more generosity with each other.
Both seemed to be arguing two different points, and neither was going to back down. Instead they doubled down. Should have calmed down. And then, realizing we are all friends here, dig down.
Both had a great point to make, but not against each other. A rare occasion where they were both right, and both of them (and Joe!) are smart enough to have found the truth together. But instead it turned into an embarrassing and unnecessary slugfest.
Whew! Got that out. Now I will go read his new book as you recommend.
Looking forward to it/not looking forward to it. The same way I felt watching Mr. Jones, about the Holomodor.

I missed that debate. I will have to try to find it and watch. I have heard some comments on it, but since I hadn't seen it, I couldn't really relate to the points made. I don't know Dave Smith at all, but Douglas Murray is on my list of buy and read immediately when his stuff comes out. Anyway, thanks for your comments.

Douglass Murray came across as ungracious and arrogant in that debate. Instead of refuting anything Dave Smith said, he clumsily attacked his credibility. His whole attack on Rogan was clumsy and in horrible taste for the guests he's had on previously. He clearly didn't know anything about Darryl Cooper (a previous guest)except for a few out of context quotes that were quickly refuted by both Smith and Rogan. For the record, I don't know much about Cooper. Rogan has always had on people with unconventional views. If he thinks he peddles in misinformation and conspiracy he shouldn't go on the show.
I find Murray insufferable. His speaking style is incredibly slow, super highbrow British poshboyish and painful to listen to. I'd rather stick a dull knife repeatedly into my eyeballs than listen to an audio book narrated by Douglass Murray. He sounds and acts like a pretentious [REDACTED]. It takes him 30 seconds to say "beeeeeeeeeeeeen." Cut down on the poshness dear lad.

I like his voice. I don't know why their is such a difference. He seems Trumpy in that his style is either super popular or super grating.
He did effectively refute Dave Smith's understandings about Israel and the World Bank because he knew more and did more research which was his entire point.

I've seen him address this a few times, and he does a good job with it.
