Leftist leaders attempt to protect themselves from leftism

The White House has added additional security barriers because they’re afraid of violent Republicans.  Ha!  Just kidding, of course — the Secret Service is not stupid.  No, they’ve added additional security barriers because of the upcoming “Pro-Palestinian Demonstration“.  I’ll list some of the organizations that will be participating in this demonstration, and see if you notice the same thing that I did, and apparently that the Secret Service noticed as well:

CODEPINK – Started in 2002 by a group of American women who were concerned about America’s upcoming attack on Iraq.
The People’s Forum – A Communist propaganda organization — on their website their Education Director is pictured reading from “The Communist Manifesto”
The Palestinian Feminist Collective – From their website:  “The PFC is a body of Palestinian and Arab feminists committed to Palestinian social and political liberation by confronting systemic gendered, sexual, and colonial violence, oppression, and dispossession.”  I swear.  Go look it up for yourself.
The Green Party – From their website:  “We are grassroots activists, environmentalists, advocates for social justice, nonviolent resisters and regular citizens who’ve had enough of corporate-dominated politics.”
The Party for Socialism and Liberation – From their website:  “For the planet to live capitalism must end.”  I swear.  Go look it up for yourself.
Doctors Against Genocide – I’m not a member of this organization.  So does that mean that I’m in favor of genocide?  I wonder how many doctors, in a nationwide poll, would state that they are in favor of genocide?  Check it out if you like.

The Secret Service and I noticed that while only one of these organizations has anything to do with Palestinians, they are all left-wing organizations.  The White House is controlled by left-wing politicians.  And they know better than most that leftists are violent and dangerous.  So they’re putting up additional barricades to protect themselves… From their allies.  Makes sense.

If you asked the leadership of Hamas or other Palestinian leaders, I wonder what they would say of the environmentalists, feminists, socialists, and secular academics that make up the organizations that will be protesting on their behalf at the White House.  I’m sure they appreciate whatever help they can get, but I doubt they have much in common with these groups.

It may be simple:  The enemy of your enemy is your friend.  Left-wing organizations and Muslim terrorist organizations both hate America, so they are unified by a common enemy.  They are smaller, weaker organizations than their enemy, so they understandably form a broad coalition to destroy America together, even though they don’t like each other.

It may be just that simple.

But I’m starting to wonder if there’s another layer to left-wing organizations supporting Muslim terrorist groups like Hamas.

Governments of Islamic countries tend to have absolute power over their citizens.  And that is something that left-wing groups admire, and wish to emulate.

Through different means, of course.  Islamic governments may ban education for girls, and left-wing governments may ban gasoline-powered cars.  But you get my point.

It’s all about gaining sufficient power to ban whatever you don’t like and mandate whatever you do.  Some people want to control the behavior of others — I call these people leftists.  Some people are less interested in controlling how others live their lives — I call these people conservatives.  You may have different terminology and definitions, and that’s fine.  But that’s not the point.

The American left is a hodge-podge of special interest groups, from environmentalists to unions. These groups don’t get along, and they have little in common.  Well, little in common other than their desire for power.

Perhaps that’s why they support militant Islamic terrorist organizations, who despise all they stand for.

Perhaps that’s why the left wing is violent and dangerous.

Perhaps that’s why the White House put up extra security barricades.

The leaders of the American left have built something that they can’t possibly control.  And they know it.  Their followers destroy everything in their path.  So the leaders of the American left hide behind security barricades, waiting for their followers to destroy their common enemy.

Which is the rest of us.

Elections provided a safer and more peaceful way to work out our differences.

Hang on tight.  This is going to get ugly.

At least, the White House Secret Service thinks that it will.

And I believe them.

Perhaps they should electrify the fence like they do for containing livestock on farms.

Dr. Bastiat: …they are all left-wing organizations.  The White House is controlled by left-wing politicians.

One may rightly wonder if some in the White House have some of the same suppliers on speed dial for pre-staged pallets of bricks, frozen water bottles, and high-end fireworks as used by the listed organizations to prepare for events like this. (Or do they have even closer relationships with the delivery systems?)  Certainly the Speaker’s office had a coordinating influence on such things during the “mostly peaceful” riots of 2020. (Prove me wrong.)

Dr. Bastiat: Hang on tight.  This is going to get ugly.

The path between now and the Democrat National Convention will be an adventure. Does it ramp up into an August climax or does it peter out over a long summer? To what length will the White House go to control the uncontrollable…especially when the black eyes keep coming news cycle after news cycle?

If nothing else, the ugliness will be interesting to witness with my feet firmly planted in a red county in a red state.

I’m just remembering how the Judean People’s Front hated the People’s Front of Judea, and the Popular People’s Front of Judea, and the Judean Popular Front, and the…

Something tells me this stew won’t mix well.

Those big black heavy screen sections were purchased and deployed for the George Floyd/BLM/antifa riots. Good to see the taxpayers are getting full use out of the purchase.

But it doesn’t make up for them scrapping the border wall materials.

Remember when all the left would do is self-loathing? Now it seems every time they start a new monthly cause they need to one-up the last cause. They need to be more extreme. Attacking the right is so last year. In place of that they need to attack their own that are not 100% in line with the dictated inclusive viewpoint. Their righteousness needs to increase 5% per cause.

I’m not sure it still works this way, but 40 years ago in my leftist – activist days in DC I can definitively tell you that protest organizers contact the various and sundry hodge-podge of other lefty groups and make it known that unless they send support to your protest they can’t expect support for their upcoming event.   So even though any particular group might muster only a couple hundred members and only 20% of those are active … there are thousands at any given event.   Each group sends a contingent.   It adds up.   That’s why you always see signs for a whole host of causes no matter the stated purpose of any event.

Well, it’s a dead virus.  But it did its job.   Sometimes a sacrifice fly is worth it.

The left is willing to risk a few dead viruses, protesters, & other vermin, if they can knock Western Civilization down a peg or two.

Leftist leaders think they can set this into motion, then watch the destruction as they safely hide behind their barricades.

and maybe study that in conjunction with the Federalist Papers to study how very smart men dealt with the question”what might happen if a complete a$$hat is elected and how can we minimize the damage?”
