On the bright side, the fact that he still has to lie and propagandize about being in favor of the middle class proves that he hasn't killed it off yet.
It reminds me of an old episode of The Office (Michael is the white boss, Oscar the Mexican employee).
Michael: Um, let me ask you, is there a term besides Mexican that you prefer? Something less offensive? Oscar: Mexican isn't offensive. Michael: Well, it has certain connotations. Oscar: Like what? Michael: Like... I don't... I don't know.
Bob Laing: 12/13. I screwed up the question about the most common gas in the atmosphere. Looking at the other scores posted here, I'm concerned I qualify as a low information voter now. · 1 minute ago
Same here. I said Oxygen. Clearly I am responsible for perpetuating the stereotype that conservatives are anti-science rubes. Actually, the results show that only 20% answer this question correctly. By far the lowest rate in the quiz, with the next being the question about electrons at 47%.
I don't know much about the bible myself. I haven't read it 'cause I don't have to, 'cause I'm Catholic. Oh, not a lot of Catholics have read the bible. It's a different perspective on rules for Catholics. It's not like other religions. Hindus are not supposed to eat meat. They don't eat meat. Catholics are like, "Don't eat meat on Fridays... unless you forget. Eh, do whatever the hell you want."
Mr. Bildo: If the unwanted advancement of a straight man enrages a straight woman to the point she punches him, I don't think it makes a huge difference if it's in a bar or locker room.
Men and women don't share locker rooms. At least not where I am from. Are you saying you wouldn't mind showering in the same locker room as women at the gym?
Gary McVey: Interesting that GFL aside, probably 99% of the SSM debate on Ricochet takes place solely between impassioned, disorganized factions of straights. No punch line there, just an observation. · 8 hours ago
Tom Meyer:LEVIN: Well I don’t know why your husband doesn’t put a gun to his temple. Get the hell out of here.
Maybe, its because I'm a former New Yorker, or because I come from a loud Irish family but I like Mark Levin's righteous anger. I know alot of people reject to the tone but I know where its coming from.
This is overwrought to the extreme. There are a million equal, if not significantly worse, examples from Ed Schultz and Bill Maher.
Well, I guess that's definitive: conservatives can be awful because liberals do it, too! · 6 minutes ago

That wasn't the point I was making, although it is my fault for being unclear. The point I had hoped to convey is that the ugliness (perceived or real) of right and left wing pundits is not a definitive driver of voting patterns for "persuadable" voters. At least that is my personal experience.
Jamie Lockett: Ah, that must be why our arguments were so strong and President Romney is set to pass landmark entitlement reform next week...
Luozi
Laziness is a symptom of people, generally. Most liberals aren't challenged on their beliefs either. Talk radio is not first and foremost about "challenging assumptions" but, like Brent mentioned, about entertainment. It's also about reinforcement of personal conviction. We get enough "challenge" from everywhere else. · 4 minutes ago

What was Romney's most persuasive argument? As far as I can tell from acquaintances, what low information voters heard was, "I made money in business, trust me."
Jamie Lockett: I'm sure a lot of people will be persuaded to our side by his desire for their husbands to kill themselves. Can't you see how ugly this is?

This is overwrought to the extreme. There are a million equal, if not significantly worse, examples from Ed Schultz and Bill Maher. The people in the middle are not listening to anything that has even a small whiff of partisanship or rigid ideology. They tune out talk radio, and its left wing counterparts, completely.
I doubt that even 10% of the participants in a Frank Luntz "focus" group have ever heard of Mark Levin.
Glad to see the Wisconsin GOP delegation going 5 for 5 in opposition to this horrible bill. We had two newcomers take out Democrats in the 2010 wave, and both appear to be solid so far.
As far as I know Senssenbrenner has a pretty strong record on opposing tax increases. Tom Petri is the one I'd have expected to support this.
There was a Sowell divide during the GOP primary season as I recall. He came out in favor of Newt to at least some extent, which provided for several entertaining threads.
