In what is likely a desperate and purely political attempt to make Hillary Clinton look like she wasn’t the nation’s worst-ever Secretary of State, John “You Rang?” Kerry has just come out with the least encouraging pronouncement imaginable about the throat-cutting, suicide-bombing, allegedly non-Islamic murderers of ISIS, ISIL, Daesh, or whatever the heck other name […]
Following criticism of his seeming insensitivity to the largest terror attack on U.S. soil since 9/11, Barack Obama is reluctantly making a brief pit stop in San Bernardino to express scripted condolences before continuing his flight to a 5-star multi-million dollar vacation in Hawaii. More
Sunday night President Obama called for a ban on gun ownership by persons on the No Fly List. The hue and cry immediately erupted: “Obama wants to seize all the guns.” Now I think it safe to say that Mr. Obama would seize a huge number of guns were it within his power. Fortunately, if […]
We are constantly being told that it’s “lone wolf” terrorists who are behind the Islamic terrorism attacks on our country, but it’s a rather long line of loners who are to blame for the Islam-inspired violence inside America. Since that fateful day in September 2001, there have been, by my count, ten attempted and successful attacks by radical Islamic terrorists on American soil.
- The 2006 UNC SUV Attack (9 injured)
- The 2006 Seattle Jewish Center Shooting (1 dead, six injured)
- The 2009 Arkansas Recruiting Center Shooting (1 dead, 1 injured)
- The 2009 Fort Hood Shooting (13 dead, 33 injured)
- The 2010 Attempted Bombing of Times Square (no injuries or fatalities)
- The 2012 Boston Marathon Bombing (6 killed, 280 injured)
- The 2014 Vaughn Foods Beheading (1 killed, 2 injured)
- The 2015 Texas Art Show Shootings (1 injury)
- The 2015 Chattanooga Recruiting Center Shootings (6 killed, 2 injured)
- The 2015 San Bernardino Shooting (14 killed, 23 injured)
Now, is this a complete list of all the post-9/11 attacks on American soil that have been inspired by Islam? Of course not. I’ve specifically left out the honor killings and inter-family attacks that were committed because someone in a family was “not Islamic enough” for someone else. This is just a list of large-scale attacks that were politically motivated by the words of the Quran.More
As evidence about the horrific mass murders in San Bernardino unfolded, and explanations about the killers’ motive devolved to the familiar statement, “we can’t rule out terrorism,” the rest of us shocked by this slaughter wondered why the authorities were so hesitant.
In fact, only 48 hours after the event, we learned quite a bit. For instance, in spite of CNN, MSNBC, and other progressive tripe-peddlers suggesting everything from right-wing terrorism to the triggering effects of a nearby Planned Parenthood, it was clear that this was a premeditated assault carried out by “very religious” Muslims. The wife, Tashfeen Malik, even professed allegiance to ISIS on her Facebook page. As far as motive goes, how about the title of Brigitte Gabriel’s book on the subject: Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America. Isn’t that enough?More
On Monday, Barack Obama gave a “powerful rebuke” to ISIS terrorists by telling them that it’s pretty much too late for them to do us in because western civilization is already doomed. And, unsurprisingly, it’s largely the fault of stinking, greedy, energy-guzzling Americans like you. More
Sultan Knish, a blog by Daniel Greenfield: Minister Steinmeier had urged rejecting “barriers, fences” when it came to the Muslim migrants, but it was a barrier and the security in front of it that kept one of his beloved refugees from reaching him. More
In the face of increased terror activity in Europe and threatened terror activity domestically, Barack Obama has cinched up his big boy pants and made his strongest rhetorical attack to date…on Republicans. More
Female Suicide Bombers Aren’t Freak OccurrencesSince the 1980s, women have accounted for nearly a quarter of attacks in several countries, including Iraq, Egypt, and Israel. Some research indicates that since 2002 women have carried out 50 percent of suicide attacks in Sri Lanka, Turkey, and Chechnya. More
Despite the carnage of the terrorist massacres in Paris, Barack Obama is continuing to treat the war on terror as a game. A game which combines “Where’s Waldo?” and Russian roulette. More
Will the CBS Eye be closed to this obvious and vitally important question? Late on Friday the 13th, nightmarish terror struck the city of Paris – reminding us all, as if we needed reminders, that in the modern world no place is safe from the insanity of Islamic radicalism. More
“Si vis pacem, para bellum.” — Vegetius
As the world recoils in horror from the atrocities carried out on the streets of Paris Friday night, we’re beginning to realize that this is a calamity we’ve seen before: The attacks on the theater, nightclub, soccer stadium, and shopping mall are almost exact copies of earlier attacks in Mumbai and Nairobi, and we’ve seen smaller versions of these kind of attacks on American soil at Fort Hood and in Garland, TX; Ottawa, Canada; and during the Boston Marathon. There is no such thing as “rules of engagement” for radical Islamic militants: In this global war on terror, we are all behind enemy lines. We have met the enemy, and they are among us.More
As a matter of fact, he would like to bring it to the White House! More
Following a misunderstanding in which a Muslim high school student was briefly arrested for bringing a homemade clock to school which looked (to concerned authorities) like a bomb, Barack Obama has invited him to the White House in order to highlight the stupidity and racism of people who think that Muslims and/or bombs could ever […]
When Hope n’ Change reflects on the anniversary of 9/11, we think of the New York skyline and are overwhelmed by the emptiness. Empty not just of the souls and structures which were once there, but a new and growing emptiness of resolve, national unity, and moral courage. More
When a heavily armed man emerged from the bathroom of a European train and began what was clearly intended as a massacre of innocent, unsuspecting civilians, six men ranging in age from 22 to 62 sprang into action. A banker and a middle-aged academic, both French, were first on the scene. The sound of gunfire awakened three young American tourists: Alek Skarlatos, Spencer Stone, and Anthony Sadler. In a moment evocative of the Flight 93 passengers’ shining courage on 9/11, Skarlatos saw Ayoub El-Khazzani struggling with one of his guns and leapt up, saying simply “Let’s go” to his friends.
The three Americans, two Frenchmen, and one Briton who took on the terrorist were unarmed — though, thank God, in the case of two (the third was fit too), their military training prepared them for violence. That’s right. For the world to be safe for most people, good people must learn the arts of war to prevent bad people from ruling through terror. It’s true of individuals, and it’s true of nations.More
