If They Try Harder, Do We Roll Over?

There are many of us who encourage people to keep fighting those on the Left with all our might. And there are those who simply are living their lives quietly and not paying a whole lot of attention to current events. And finally, there are those who say fighting back, at this point, is a hopeless effort. So here’s the elephant in the room:

Should we just give up?

I have no problem with people who think fighting back is going to be extremely difficult and it could literally take years to take our country back. And there’s not much I can do with those people who make-believe that everything is fine and refuse to engage because it’s just so hard. But I ask those of you who write as if there is no chance of our defeating the Left eventually—what are we supposed to do?

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome some non-conservative voices explaining that another massive spending bill will only make inflation worse.  They also cringe as 4.4 million Americans quit their jobs in September after 4.3 million did the same in August. And Jim throws up his hands as blue states are stunned that COVID cases are on the rise despite their high vaccination rates.

Join Jim and Greg as they dissect Pres. Biden’s attempt to declare the withdrawal from Afghanistan an “extraordinary success” while also trying to blame President Trump for things going wrong and throwing out his bogus straw man arguments yet again for the decisions he made. They also welcome the scathing critique of the withdrawal from former Democratic Sen. Jim Webb, who is demanding vigorous oversight of the exit from Afghanistan. And they discuss the resignations of the two top vaccine officials at the Food and Drug Administration and how little the media seem interested in the news.

Join Jim and Greg as they dissect the much-needed resignation of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.  They also shudder as 19 Republicans in the Senate support the badly bloated infrastructure bill.  And they fume as Oregon addresses its problem of some students of color failing to meet high school proficiency standards by getting rid of the standards altogether.

Join Jim and Greg as they see the resignation of top aide Melissa DeRosa as a major sign that Gov. Andrew Cuomo might not survive this scandal. They also note more polls showing Californians split on the recall of Gov. Gavin Newsom and a majority giving him terrible marks on key issues. And they react to the big Obama birthday bash and wonder whether having a bunch of vaccinated people together without masks is fine or the CDC is serious about vaxxed people staying masked. Because it can’t be both.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America recap the Mueller hearings, including Democrat Hakeem Jeffries’ embarrassing exchange with the former special counsel. They react to the resignation of Puerto Rican Governor Ricardo Rossello. And they discuss Kamala Harris declining in the polls after her post-debate bounce last month.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America unload on Roy Moore for answering a question about the last time America was great by discussing the family unity during the era of slavery.  They also discuss the bizarre tweet from the French ambassador to the United States, who used Pearl Harbor Day to rip the U.S. for not doing more to stop fascism in the 1930’s.  And they discuss odd, emotional, and inappropriate details surrounding the resignation of Arizona Rep. Trent Franks for apparently asking two female staffers to carry his child while he and his wife experienced infertility.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America serve up all crazy martinis today.  First, they wonder why no Senate Democrats demanded Al Franken’s resignation after six allegations of misconduct but 33 suddenly decided that a seventh accuser was the last straw.  They also get a kick out of Democrats who have long called for the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital but are now outraged that President Trump actually did it.  And they scratch their heads as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley says it is an “open question” as to whether the United States will participate in the Winter Olympics in South Korea next year due to security concerns.

I just found out that Gorka resigned from his position as Trump’s Deputy Assistant.  But as I wrote about Bannon’s resignation, there is no shock value to this taking place today.  Bannon and Gorka had and hold a shared vision for Trump’s Make America Great Again and Gorka also contributed to Breitbart, where Bannon also […]

Nevada is over and we’re heading into Super Tuesday or the SEC Primary depending on which term you prefer this cycle. Donald Trump is busy warming up the fat lady and dragging a bow-tied pig in white gloves towards center stage with another smashing victory. Despite the fact that the GOP Nevada caucus was apparently chaotic, […]
