Every four years, we are reminded that the president of the United States must be a “natural born citizen.” But what does this even mean? Does it apply to everyone born in America, and is there a difference between a “native born” (one naturalized at birth by statute) and a “natural born” (one who does not […]

I love watching and listening to the president’s pressers, but I wish that people would not share the president’s podium, because they all put their hands and their papers on it, and then he touches it after them. I really want that man not to get sick.  I don’t think it makes me a Karen […]

Best Cop, Bad Cop?

I personally love what President Trump is doing, in his daily exposure of the entirely corrupted professional media, which sold itself long ago to the secular left wing of the Democrats. Today’s briefing was one of the best, as he went all multi-media on them, making them look into the mirror as he showed the American public their hackery. At the same time, we got First Lady Melania Trump talking to children, urging them to listen to their parents and reading them a story. So, is this a bad cop, best cop act? What do you think of this team?

Reason Enough to Re-elect Donald J. Trump

The most pro-life POTUS since Roe, President Donald Trump, will attend the March for Life in person Friday. God bless you President Trump for your witness to life.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America discuss Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s surprising praise of conservative justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. They debate the news of Wall Street donors backing Biden, Buttigieg, and Kamala in the Democratic primary. And they cover the growing controversy of the doctored presidential seal displayed behind President Trump at a recent event.

Quote of the Day: Article Two, Section One, Clause Eight

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” — Presidential Oath or Affirmation, United States Constitution

Two-hundred-thirty years ago, on April 30, 1789, those words were spoken in an official capacity for the very first time, as George Washington, the duly elected President of the United States, was sworn into office. There had been a few bumps in his processional route from Mount Vernon to New York, but the swearing-in finally took place on the balcony of Federal Hall on Wall Street, in front of a large crowd of onlookers. Following the ceremony, Washington went indoors to make his inaugural address to the assembled members of Congress. The day concluded after dark with a few fireworks and cannons.

Such a short time ago. Just 72 years after Washington’s inauguration (in 1861), war broke out between the States. Just 72 years after that (1933), Adolph Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany. One-hundred-fifteen years after Washington’s inauguration (1904) and halfway between then and now, Theodore Roosevelt became the first President to win election in his own right after having been elevated to the position upon the death of his predecessor (McKinley). And now, 115 years further down the road, here we are with President Donald J. Trump.

An Unexpected Win from the First Couple

I don’t understand why this rich lady would want to even act frugal, much less be frugal, but my opinion of the First Couple continues to rise. I know some will say that even this is too much, but it is very impressive to me, and should be to all Americans.

It’s not costing as much for Melania Trump to assume the role of first lady as it did with Michelle Obama. According to a Fox News report, she has cut the budget in half by not being surrounded by needless aides.

In the analysis done of White House personnel, Mrs. Obama had 16 employees in her first year in office. Their salaries totaled $1.24 million. That does not include other aides that worked for her, which brings the grand total to 24. According to FactCheck.org, that could be a record: “That may indeed be the largest of any first lady, but Hillary Clinton, with 19 staffers, and Laura Bush with at least 18 and perhaps more, weren’t far behind.”

Stunning, freedom loving speech. Naming the enemies of freedom and prosperity. Demanding the restoration of freedom of choice by the people in Venezuela, in Cuba, shunning Radical Islamist Terrorism, demanding Iran to cease and desist from their evil pursuit of death and destruction, demanding it to free American prisoners, marking North Korea as risk to […]

At last count, twenty individuals formally declared their intentions to seek the office of President of the United States of America.  Each of these men and women is stating a case to the people of our great country.  Each candidate is demonstrating to us why we should support his or her candidacy by casting our precious vote […]

The Party Of Government

Only one thing can be said with confidence about the upcoming midterm elections: that semi-retired lawyers will retain a majority in both houses of Congress.

Disgust with federal incompetence is seeping into our bones and Americans are not taking it in stride.

As the arrival of America’s newest pre-existing condition dominates the headlines, worries over the Ebola virus have wreaked havoc on Wall Street, causing the S&P 500 to post its worst three-day slide since November 2011. But if Ebola thinks it can just waltz into this country and diminish Wall Street’s wealth, then Ebola doesn’t know President […]

(Note: For entertainment purposes only. – DD) The family I grew up in, like so many American families, was divided politically. On one side there was my mom and two brothers (the conservatives) and on the other there was my dad, sister and me (the right-wing nut jobs). As an adult, the milieu I […]
