As a (nominal) Catholic, the Pope matters to me.   Why is it that it matters so much to people who are not Catholic, and indeed oppose Catholicism at every opportunity?  Why are my crazy liberal friends spouting love for the Pope while recognizing that the man holds no authority over them?    Preview Open
