Join Jim and Greg as they cheer the impending resignation of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, whose years in power were most notably marked by draconian COVID policies and unilaterally outlawing the right to own many different weapons. They also shake their heads as some House Republicans propose a national 30 percent sales tax to replace all other federal taxes. They appreciate the effort to simplify the code and hope discussions continue but fear this plan will only be used by Democrats to hammer Republicans. Finally, they respond to former Vice President Al Gore bellowing about boiling oceans and a billion climate refugees.

Toby is on the road doing his “footie reporter” thing and after a quick tour of the north country, he and James widen their scope to  take in the draconian measures elsewhere in the Commonwealth, namely that of Dan Andrews, the Premier of Victoria and Jacinda Ardern, the PM of New Zealand.

Of course they turn their sights to the unfolding disaster that is the fall of Afghanistan back into the hands of Taliban.

Story Hour with Bridget Phetasy is a segment where Bridget reminisces with cousin Maggie and tells stories explaining who she is and how she got here.

Bridget’s globe trotting tales really kick off with the first leg of her months-long journey. Hear how a spontaneous opportunity to go to Burning Man, led to a weed farm in Oregon, to an ashram in Australia, and wwoofing on a horse farm in New Zealand. The many adventures and mishaps along the way include knowing her way around Sydney exclusively via boat, accidentally joining a sex cult in the Australian bush, crashing a party of entrepreneurs in New Zealand, and why a backpack full of mini-dresses and the gift of gab will get you far on your travels.

Eighty years ago the United Kingdom and her Commonwealth stood alone against fascist tyranny – defiant and resolved to preserve their liberty. Now, all across the Anglosphere the citizenry is meekly abiding by all sorts of arbitrary and capricious dictates in the name of safety, including the postponement of elections. What’s happened?

If the Johnson government has cocked up its response to Covid, its response to the GCE A Levels has been even worse. (The UK equivalent of the American SATs.)

Are “Easter Worshipers” the New “Deli Customers?”

It was remarkably unremarkable that Democrats all sang off the same sheet, effacing the Christian identity of the latest Islamist terror attack. Naturally, the propaganda arm of the left furiously buried the truth of both the carefully targeted victims and their victimizers. The red-green coalition carefully obscured Who Attacked Whom in Sri Lanka? This followed naturally after a President of the United States got away with effacing the identity of victims, openly gunned down in France, when those carrying out the Vernichtung of Jews could not be cast as right wing. To aid the red-green coalition’s advancement, both Jews and Christians are to be cast as “white,” “colonialist,” “imperialist,” and “privileged.”

Think back only a few years. An Islamist attack on a satirical newspaper in France was followed by smaller attacks that terminated in a Jewish deli. Journalists and security services, therefore the President of the United States, knew the terrorist’s motive for picking his target.

Coulibaly reportedly told a French journalist at the height of the siege that he had deliberately chosen to target Jews.

Make Them Own It: Part 3

In the midst of domestic news, the latest turn in the New Zealand mass murder slipped by my radar. It turns out that one of those intersectionality virtuous Muslim clerics, *publicly* blamed the Jews. This was not a fringe figure; he is a prominent leader.

The socialist prime minister was not asked for comment, nor did she find a camera to get in front of and forcefully intone that this was not New Zealander values and a person who expresses such views is not a real New Zealander. After all, the red-green coalition is working according to plan, consolidating state power through the forms of the democracy they are hollowing out.

The New Zealand parliament not only voted 199-1 to confiscate all modern firearms from citizens, they went further and spit in citizens’ faces by passing a second law to prohibit the export sales of the modern firearms. This was so that they could punish all owners by taking their property, disarming them, and handing them only a fraction of the market value of the seized property.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are glad to see not all Democrats have lost their minds after Colorado Sen.  Michael Bennet begs 2020 candidates not to campaign on expanding the Supreme Court. They also hammer Beto O’Rourke and other liberals for using the New Zealand mosque massacre to push a ban on the AR-15.  And they defend Chelsea Clinton after progressives accuse her of facilitating the New Zealand massacre with her critique of Rep. Ilhan Omar.

There is no justification for the murder of innocents. It’s a monstrous, horrible thing from which all decent people should recoil, and which everyone should unequivocally condemn. I hope all those who participated in or helped facilitate the carnage in New Zealand meet swift and sure justice. This atrocity is being described as a terrorist […]

Wake up the President? Terrorist Mass Murder at New Zealand Mosques [Updated midday Friday]

On Friday afternoon, 15 March 2019, New Zealand time, there was a horrific terrorist attack at least two mosques in New Zealand. They are 20 hours ahead of the U.S. West Coast time. According to the initial reports, an attacker livestreamed the event. The image, at right, was captured by media before the video was taken down. There apparently was a lengthy manifesto. There have been multiple people arrested. It appears this was an attack by white New Zealand and Australian citizens on Muslims.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said: “This can only be described as a terrorist attack.” The linked BBC page has a series of videos. The PM is not inclined to tweet. Indeed, you can see her last communication was in October.

The initial casualties being reported are 40 killed and over 20 wounded at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand:

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America recoil at the mass murder of 49 Muslims in New Zealand, the radical manifesto that came with it, and the aggravating tendency of politicians and activists to claim instantly that an attack vindicates their existing political positions.  They also slam Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for mocking the idea of “thoughts and prayers” in the wake of these horrible events and then claiming she really said it to attack the NRA for carnage in New Zealand. And they have fun with Howard Schultz suggesting he would not sign any legislation as president that did not have bipartisan support or nominate any Supreme Court justice who couldn’t get two-thirds support in the Senate.

“Maritime Hoonery” brings Australia and New Zealand Closer to war than they have ever been. Australia, a “country” on the continent of “Australia,” is commonly known as “the bully of the world” by New Zealand, a small island country entirely populated by small birds. Unsatisfied with their pre-existing reign of terror, the Royal Australian Navy […]

Snowden, Eminem, and New Zealand’s Election

402px-Edward-Snowden-FOPF-2014In his relentless drive for relevancy, NSA-leaker Edward Snowden has injected himself into New Zealand’s politics on the eve of its general election. Appearing on Monday via video link at an event hosted by fellow fugitive Kim Dotcom — who is wanted by U.S. prosecutors on piracy charges — Snowden alleged that Prime Minister John Key and senior government officials lied to the public about the activities of New Zealand’s spy agency, the Government Communications and Security Bureau (GCSB).

Snowden — who was joined by the reporter-activist Glenn Greenwald and Julian Assange of WikiLeaks fame — claimed that the GCSB was planning to implement a system of mass surveillance of its citizens with the help of the NSA. According to Snowden, the GCSB “is directly involved in the untargeted, bulk interception and algorithmic analysis of private communications sent via internet, sattelite, radio and phone networks”.

How does Snowden claim to know this? As an NSA analyst, he had access to a mass communication tool known as “XKEYSCORE” that the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia and New Zealand use to share data. The government has been quick to repudiate the veracity of the allegations regarding this specific program. After Snowden attempted to substantiate his claims with stolen NSA files, Key declassified relevant documents.
