Join Jim and Greg as they react to Gen. Milley and Gen. McKenzie telling lawmakers they recommended keeping 2,500 U.S. troops in Afghanistan to avoid the very debacle that ended up happening – a recommendation Pres. Biden denied just last month.  They also hammer New York Gov. Kathy Hochul for forcing health care workers to lose their jobs unless they got vaccinated by midnight.  In addition, they cringe over Hochul saying that God wants everyone to be vaccinated her urging supporters to be her vaccination “apostles.”  And they sigh as Biden suggests we need a 97 or 98 percent vaccination rate to get back to normal.

Join Jim and Greg as they marvel at the new hi-tech details surrounding Israel’s successful targeting of an Iranian nuclear scientist back in November. They also welcome the perfectly logical conclusion of the Senate parliamentarian that amnesty for illegal immigrants does not belong in a budget reconciliation bill. And they vent as the Pentagon actually admits its ISIS-K drone strike actually killed a bunch of innocent people but top officials somehow stand by the intelligence behind the strike.

Jim and Greg are fascinated to see public opinion catching up with the troubling performance of President Biden, especially among independents and women. They also groan as California voters overwhelmingly vote to keep Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democrats are likely to see the results as proof of support for their radical agenda. And they hammer away at Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley following reports he told Chinese officials he would tip them off if President Trump ordered an attack against them.

The killing of terrorists is always a good thing.  Especially if they really were the guys planning the next attack. I wonder who ordered it.  Did the President know about it beforehand?  Does he know about it now?  Were Gens.  Austin and Milley aware of it? Did they okay it? Preview Open

The Afghan Withdrawal: Just Another Debacle For A Fallen America

As with every other left-induced debacle in contemporary America, the debacle of the Afghan withdrawal leaves rational patriotic Americans shaking their heads in disbelief and disillusionment.  As with all the other debacles: COVID response, open borders, mollycoddling violent criminals, pushing socialism, transgender madness, out of control trillion, zillion spending – they are left to ask the question:  How can all of this be happening in the greatest country in the history of mankind?

But let’s focus on Afghanistan for now, while keeping in mind the context of an America in severe decline.  Look, whether we had twenty years or a thousand years, there was never going to be a way for us to fix Afghanistan.  Why, we could no more fix what’s wrong with Afghanistan than we, apparently, can fix what’s wrong with . . . Portland!  Or San Francisco!  Or Baltimore!  Or Chicago!  Or you name the ruined, Democrat-run American city.  Or for that matter, you name the particular section of the ruined American heartland, which is fast and deliberately being filled up with endless illegals.

Let’s Start by Questioning General Milley

We may never know the degree to which the brain trust in the Pentagon was to blame for the fall of Afghanistan that occurred in a matter of hours or whether they dutifully followed the direction and orders of the Commander-in-Chief. How can we begin to understand the rapid fall of Afghanistan, especially because it occurred on the watch of Joseph Biden, that brilliant foreign policy expert who spent virtually all of his adult life in the corridors of power on Capitol Hill and 8 years in the White House providing sound foreign policy advice and insight to President Barack Obama? How can we make sense of the chaos and utter failure of American foreign policy we are witnessing in the administration Joe Biden, the most popular human being ever to be elected to the Presidency of the United States? Were all those verifiable 81 million Americans who put him into the White House wrong to put their trust in Mr. Biden? Say it isn’t so.

It may be impossible to get straight or coherent answers from Joe Biden himself (for either cognitive reasons or because of his documented history of deceitful claims) or from those in the shadows pulling President Biden’s strings, or indeed from the lickspittle White House press corps. So, it may be at least prudent to begin asking a few questions of others in the chain of command, beginning with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Mark Milley. On July 21st of this year, Milley, held a press conference where he made the following statements (emphasis mine):

The Afghan Security Forces have the capacity to sufficiently fight and defend their country, and we will continue to support the Afghan Security Forces where necessary in accordance with the guidance from the president and the secretary of defense.

Join us for three Iran-related martinis for you today. First, Jim and Greg are glad to see the likes of Russia and China offering nothing but word salad as no nation commits arms or manpower to Iran in the wake of the Soleimani strike. They also cringe as the Pentagon has to walk back a letter stating the U.S. Army would leave Iraq, only to have Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley explain the letter was just a poorly worded draft that doesn’t accurately express our policy and was never intended to go public. And they unload on California Rep. Ro Khanna for suggesting that Pres. Trump retaliating against Iran could warrant another article of impeachment, with Jim wondering if the Democrats are starting an impeachment of the month club.
