Leonard Cohen, the great Canadian singer-songwriter (or perhaps more appropriately “songwriter-singer”) died on November 7. Ironically, on the following Saturday (after the Clinton thumping), Hillary’s impersonator Kate McKinnon sang Cohen’s song “Hallelujah” as the opener to SNL.
