Daniel Foster of National Review Online and Greg Corombos of Radio America are pleased to see President Trump walk away with no deal with Kim Jong-Un rather than give in to Kim’s thoroughly unacceptable demands. They also slam Trump for taking Kim “at his word” that he knew nothing about the horrific treatment of American […]

We finally got around to watching the video Trump showed Kim. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DdVno6o9gE), The MSM seems to think it is “idiotic” and “propaganda”. Scott Adams, who deals in persuasion – in addition to Dilbert- thinks it is maybe the “best thing anyone has done in a negotiation. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2018/06/12/scott_adams_trump_video_to_kim_might_be_the_best_thing_anybody_ever_did_in_a_negotiation_period.html More

The Korean Condo Podcast

Welcome to the Harvard Lunch Club Political Podcast number 179 (!!) for June 14, 2018, it’s the Korean Condo edition of the podcast with your hosts, radio guy Todd Feinburg and artificially intelligent (but naturally blue-eyed!) Mike Stopa over here on the left coast. We get together with you every week to peel back the onion skin of excruciatingly complex events and happenings in the public square. We are, you might have already figured out, the embodiment of the marketplace of ideas, yessirrreeee.

And speaking of the marketplace of ideas, we have our good friend Heather MacDonald on the show who knows a thing or two about ideas (both good and bad ideas, for that matter). Heather will give us her perspective on the North Korean Deal (Condos, beach and all) and will spout off about The Donald in the process and then we get into the meat and bones of #NeverTrump and question where we might find the synthesis between sycophants like ourselves at HLC and lunatics like, oh, Jennifer Rubin – just to throw out a name that pops to mind. Heather is, as you mostly all know by now, the Stephen Curry of conservative political punditry – moves like liquid light and scores from *way* downtown.

You May Say I’m a Dreamer

Welcome to the Harvard Lunch Club podcast for Septembr 5, 2017, it’s the You May Say I’m a Dreamer edition of the podcast with your hosts, Todd Feinburg, radio talk show host and Mike Stopa, nanophysicist. This week we are inclined, nay, veritably forced into the two topics of the week – (1) the end (or not the end) of DACA and (2) the end (no, no not the end!) of Western Civilization as brought to you by Kim Jong Un.

Mike makes a prediction that Trump will – as planned – announce the end of DACA in six months and that Congress – in Congressional best form – will do nothing during that six months and that (maybe) DACA will end uneventfully. Of course, the only time I predict continued Congressional gridlock may turn out to be the only case where Congress actually gets something done.

The Vive la Difference Podcast

Welcome to the Harvard Lunch Club Political Podcast for August 11, 2017 it’s the Vive La Difference edition of the podcast with your hosts, nanoscientist Mike Stopa, and, would you believe it? co-host and Smart Girl Extraordinaire Teri Christoph! But then, where’s Todd??? Wish we knew. He is off on a soul-finding three month journey of non-stop silence in the Peruvian jungle, on a diet of roasted banana peels and tropical bird sushi. We expect him back next week.

In the meantime, Mike and Teri get to bubble our way through topics ludicrous and absurd for your listening pleasure. Look, the vibe is a little different than usual. I, for one, had a fabulous time.
