A Fortune Can be Made!

I am new to the publishing scene, and I have a blockbuster idea that can make millions for those investors who like challenges and creative opportunities. My name is Dumma Zarock, and I invite you to join me on this journey of establishing genres that go beyond the usual, mundane definitions. More will be publicized later, but let me introduce you to this exciting new venture!

These newly defined genres appear under familiar titles, but pack a punch for the reader who has difficulty following the politics of the time, but wants to be well-informed. Here in a nutshell are our plans going forward:

Science Fiction: We are bombarded with the science from the Biden Administration. They rely on “experts” and agencies who obfuscate to keep us informed about the latest nuances of the COVID virus, such as wearing a mask, not wearing a mask, wearing masks indoors, wearing masks outdoors, not wearing masks indoors, not wearing masks outdoors, wearing masks as the latest fashion statement, wearing masks in the shower. You get the idea. The stories will project into the future that we will conquer this disease by admitting that it will be endemic. It will become the greatest science fiction tale of all time!

If Everything Fails, Anything Will Do

The latest insanity on the part of the Biden Administration is its promise to send out 500 million rapid tests with free delivery. (Our population is estimated to be 330 million.) This plan is so deeply disturbing and meaningless that I can’t find enough denigrating words to describe it. What in the world are they hoping to accomplish by sending out all these tests? Here’s part of the strategy:

A White House official said the administration would disclose more information about the type of tests it is purchasing after the procurement is finalized. The 500 million figure is based on what manufacturing capacity can handle, the official said.

The administration will continue using the Defense Production Act, a Korean War-era national security mobilization law, to ensure that the U.S. is producing enough tests to meet soaring demand, according to the White House.

Racist Babies

The Arizona Department of Education is tackling the racism of infants as young as three months old.

“We can all sleep more soundly now that the Arizona Department of Education is protecting the nation from the threat of racist 3-month-old babies,” Christopher Rufo of City Journal tells the story in a series of tweets:

I was ecstatic to realize that Sen Rand of Kentucky recently was urging Congress to eliminate some 2% of Fed Government spending. I was disappointed but certainly not shocked or surprised when so few Congress critters felt like aiding him in this effort. Preview Open

Quote of the Day: Do Something

“Those who cry out that the government should ‘do something’ never even ask for data on what has actually happened when the government did something, compared to what actually happened when the government did nothing.” – Thomas Sowell

Another helping of Sowell food. We have been hearing a lot about “doing something” in the aftermath of a tragedy, catastrophe, or a disaster. Of course the responsibility for doing something is always assigned to the government, rather than taking individual responsibility. Yet the truth is, nine times out of ten, nothing need have been done outside of enforcing existing laws or exercising prudence.

I just came across this interview by The Epoch Times with Rosemary Gibson, co-author of the book China Rx: Exposing the Risks of America’s Dependence on China for Medicine, which outlines yet another very discouraging and horrifying example of our complete insanity on being dependent on China for our basic, critical needs: Interview: ‘China RX’ Author […]

Alternative Math

Rarely do we have the opportunity to laugh at the antics of the Left and the irrationality of their ideas. Instead, we bemoan the distortions of truth and call out for rational, sensible behavior. Sometimes, it’s satisfying to just laugh at all of it.

The Evil Czar

The White House should hire me immediately. The official job title is unimportant; it could be as an advisor or low-level staffer, but the inner circle will know why I’m there. I will be the Evil Czar.

What’s the Evil Czar? It’s simple. My job will be to come up with diabolically evil and devilishly imaginative ways to screw with the President’s opposition, whether that be Democrats, the media (I know, I know… I repeat myself), or even disgruntled Republicans. This could be done in service of several different goals, whether to further a policy agenda, to change the media narrative away from a negative story, or best of all, simply to drive them insane and to put that insanity on full public display.

Keep Your Hands Off My Coffee!

One of the smartest decisions that my husband and I ever made was leaving California more than 10 years ago. The state is once again trying to make an obscene intrusion on the lives of Californians, and they are truly insane this time. (Yes, I know they’ve gone insane before, but this one is, for this coffee drinker, over the top.)

According to a WSJ article, California is once again trying to terrify its residents with a cancer fear — for coffee. You see, coffee has acrylamide, a flavorless chemical produced during the roasting process:

Acrylamide is one of more than 900 chemicals on a list of those known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Businesses must warn about the presence of any of the chemicals under the law, known as Proposition 65.

As some of you are probably aware BrentB67 helps people get training on firearms because, frankly, unless we’re on a professional shooting team we all need it. At his insistence, not to say nagging, I have signed up for the Memorial Day weekend handgun courses at the Critical Defense Group in Greenville, TX which means that […]

About the time I reached the teen years, my folks decided that each of us six kids should have a bedroom of our own. My folks were not rich, so a mansion on a hill was out of the question. Instead, mom and dad purchased a house with an unfinished basement, and pop went about […]

Let’s start at the very top. The party that represents the American Left is choosing between two candidates for president. One is a thoroughly corrupt woman of no discernible accomplishments who represents the cronyism they claim to despise; all of which is forgiven because she is a woman which is very VERY important for some reason. And in order […]
