Join Jim and Greg as they discuss former Clinton Treasury Secretary Larry Summers warning that the Biden COVID relief bill is way too big and could trigger the worst inflation in decades. They also shake their heads as White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki suggests the CDC director’s recommendation to open schools is just her personal opinion and they have to wait for the science. And they react to news that Hunter Biden is writing a tell-all book and are pretty sure he plans to skip a lot of stuff.

Join Jim and Greg as they discuss what appear to be lengthy, intrusive hacking operations into some of our nation’s most sensitive national security data. They also roll their eyes at Joe Biden’s defense of his son. And they unload on a University of Pennsylvania “ethicist” who want all frontline personnel to be vaccinated before the elderly because the elderly are whiter.

Join Jim and Greg as they discuss confirmation that a federal prosecutor is investigating Hunter Biden on tax issues, his foreign ties, and possible money laundering. They also sigh at the revelations of China’s efforts to infiltrate the inner circles of politicians supposedly on the rise, and how easily multiple figures seem to have fallen for it. And they react to reports that Sen. Dianne Feinstein is suffering from cognitive decline but find the timing awfully convenient for the far left.

The Revenge of the Red Wave

Someone on here recently shared with me that polling is not about reporting objective facts, or even trends among opinions. Rather, polling is aimed at shaping opinion. For those of us who grew up watching cartoons on Saturday morning, it’s the modern-day equivalent of “be the first one on your block to have a [fill in the blank].” The cool kids all want to be woke and express the “proper” opinion, and thus, the polling data showing Trump losing shows the “proper” opinion. Thus, polls shape, they don’t describe opinion.

But I don’t buy it.

Ep. 263 – Matthew Tyrmand, Investigative Reporter, and the source on Hunter Biden’s Laptop Prove MASSIVE CORRUPTION with 26,000 emails from Bevan Cooney, Devon Archer, the Cover-Up by BigTech, Media and Censorship. And then Dave’s Election Predictions, Borat 2 review and what’s at stake on Nov. 3rd.

Tonight on the Bidens…

The choir of panic in the background singing, “Russian disinformation! Disinformation! Disinformation!” is trying to drown out what Rob Long should be developing as a new sitcom, “All in the Biden Family.”

Highlights from Ebony Bowden, Tamar Lapin, and Bruce Golding in the New York Post:

Former Reagan Speechwriter, and Ricochet Co-Founder, Peter Robinson sits down with Dave Carter to discuss everything related to the 2020 Presidential Election. From the state of the voting public to journalistic subterfuge, from the strengths and weakness of both candidates to the reliability of various polls and polling methods, Peter and Dave take on practically every aspect of Campaign 2020. The dynamics of this engaging and enjoyable conversation travel from serious political analysis, to two guys sitting on the front porch, wondering why more people don’t understand history, and beseeching the kids to get off the lawn. Along the way, Peter offers a compelling list of what could happen in the event of a Biden victory (it’s safe to say that you need to hear this).

Then Dave welcomes Ricochet Member Brady Kiel (Herrforce1) to the program. Brady, an Air Force Reservist, spent some time in Dave’s old line of work as an active duty military historian. As you might imagine, the guys have a great time comparing notes and trading stories, experiences and reflecting on their military service. From start to finish, this episode is loaded with compelling conversation and even a few laughs. We’re sure you’ll enjoy your time with Dave and his guests.

I am not a Trump voter so maybe I just don’t get it. But I think the focus by President Trump and conservative media on the Hunter Biden stories are a really, really, dumb strategy. This is not to say that it is a non-story. I think it is worth investigating and checking to see […]

Join Jim and Greg as they discuss Joe Biden now promising to create a bipartisan commission to study reforming the courts and Jim explains why he thinks this is Biden’s way of letting the idea die. They also weigh in on Sacha Baron Cohen’s attempt to portray Rudy Giuliani as acting lewd with a minor and how Rudy could probably use better judgment. And they take a long look at the growing scandal involving Joe and Hunter Biden’s business dealings and why this is a big problem for Biden even if he wins the election.

Hi, kids! Yesterday, during our class on political corruption, we discussed “pay to play.” Today, we’re going to talk about the four ways to respond to accusations of wrong-doing, especially in politics or legal circles (they often overlap). And we’ll use the initial story about Hunter Biden’s “pay to play” foreign influence scandal as our […]

Enabling the Enablers

This October has been a long few months. Breaking news about Hunter Biden today seems like just another October Surprise in a string of surprises. Even though the news isn’t really a surprise, because if you haven’t been living under a rock you know by now that dad’s power enriched the son and has basically enabled him to make the poor choices he has.

I know, I know. Hunter is an adult who makes his own decisions. Anyone with grown children, such as myself, can attest to the fact that your kids might do some things that don’t sit well with you and you can’t figure out where you went wrong. Then a well-meaning friend points out that you can’t control what your adult children do, because, well, they’re adults. But this isn’t that. Who among us hasn’t gotten a $50,000/month paycheck from a foreign entity in exchange for favors from your powerful dad? When Joe Biden proclaims, “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely,” he knows what he’s talking about.

Biden Family Business Headlines

The US Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs has very belatedly released its report on Hunter Biden and, by implication, Joe Biden. This matters because it shows how Joe Biden and his people operate when it comes to family business. The report is available directly at “Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on U.S. Government Policy and Related Concerns.”

This family is deeply compromised, for real, by its greed, entangled with Putin’s and Xi’s agents. Then again, that has been a “dog bites man” story for the Democrats since at least Teddy Kennedy. To whet your appetite, here is the table of contents:

Bring On the Witnesses

McSally Collins GardnerYes, new witnesses will prolong the process by weeks at a minimum, and voting for witnesses under a Cocaine Mitch-Ted Cruz plan is likely necessary to a Trump and Trump-voter-supporting Congress winning this November. On Friday, there will be a series of votes. It is now more likely than not that there will be 51 votes, including Susan Collins (Republican-Maine), Mitt Romney (Snake-Self Serving), Lamar Alexander (Retiring-Chamber of Commerce), and Lisa Murkowski (Scheming-Big Union and Oil).

Senator Collins faithfully represents her state. She is a woman of honor who will take a tough vote when needed. It is she who reportedly first floated the common-sense proposal that the Senate trial should be run on the same rules as for the President Clinton trial. There was a basic sense of turn-about as fair play in this. She prevailed; these are the rules in the current Senate trial.

Senator McConnell is reportedly maneuvering for a single basket of witnesses vote, no chance for troublemakers and RINOS to actually work with the Democrats to inflict maximum damage on the president and the Republican majority in the Senate. This will work if he also insists on the Cruz control: paired 1-for-1 witness approval. You want the ‘Stashe? You have to vote for Biden’s boy. You want Mick Mulvaney? You have to vote for Eric Ciaramella. “Do ya really wanna jump?” [officially sanctioned clip, so “R” rated]

Yes, Hunter Biden Can Be Forced to Testify

“No reporter in Washington knows or understands this.” — Senator Ted Cruz, Verdict with Ted Cruz, Episode 2

In the midst of impassioned posts, swirling social media content, and the never-ending news cycle, Sen. Ted Cruz brought a bit of real insight the other evening. He did so in a new podcast that is burning up the charts. In Episode 2, Sen. Cruz explained that the Senate has the power, in plainly written federal law, to unilaterally grant a witness “transactional immunity,” thereby removing the ability of the witness to refuse to testify on the constitutional basis of the Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate yourself. In plain English, the deal is: “talk, tell us the whole truth, and nothing you say may be used against you by anyone in any criminal procedure, ever.”

Watch Episode 2, from 19:40 to 22:28:

It’s finally Friday! Yes, we are fully aware of the impeachment votes in the House Judiciary Committee but Jim sums up his analysis in roughly two seconds as we begin today’s podcast. After that Jim and Greg celebrate the big win for the Conservative Party in the UK and are thrilled to report the political demise of Jeremy Corbyn. They are also hoping that the substance matches the excitement as Congress prepares to pass the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement to replace NAFTA and President Trump announces agreement on “phase one” of trade negotiations with China. And Jim details why Joe Biden’s campaign could face serious turbulence after reports that Hunter Biden had a 1988 drug arrest expunged at the same time Sen. Biden was advocating for very tough drug crime sentencing.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America look forward to Clint Eastwood’s new film about how the FBI and media convinced America Richard Jewell was the Olympic Park bomber back in 1996, ruined the man’s life, and obviously learned very little from this debacle. They’re hopeful the movie will tell the truth about an ugly chapter in American history. They also unload on House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who was caught lying about his office having contact with the whistleblower before the complaint was filed. And they react to President Trump not only doubling down on his urging of Ukraine to investigates Joe and Hunter Biden but for China to start investigating them as well.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America take note of how it took less than 48 hours for Democrats to turn the impeachment process into a farce as House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff opened Thursday’s hearing with a stunningly twisted version of the transcript documenting the Trump-Zelensky phone call in July. They also walk through the declassified whistleblower report and point out what is likely to matter most as this process moves along. And they get a kick out of Elizabeth Warren changing her mind on whether it’s OK for the children of vice presidents to sit on the boards of foreign companies.
