Traveling to Hawaii? Here’s What Their Government Has In Store for You.

Hawaii’s COVID Protocols Are Severe, Cases Are Still Going Up, And Your Vaccine Doesn’t Matter. Will We Ever “Return To Normal?”

Most Americans in the lower 48 states are fed a steady diet of COVID news and scaremongering, with the never-ending debates over “lockdown” (read: Democratic) states, like Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, California, and Pennsylvania; versus “free states” (read: Republican) like Texas, Florida, and, to varying degrees, most everyone else.

Being overlooked is the State of Hawaii. It “reopened” to tourists on or about April 5th. They’re not making it easy to visit. And it’s complicated by a surge in new cases, not unlike other lockdown states. And it might make other lockdown states jealous.

Barring the minority group of recluses, most Americans love to travel. Whether they fancy a tropical adventure, or are more inclined to soak up the ambiance of an ancient European city, just about everyone loves to get out and explore the unexplored. However, there’s always that dreaded traveling part of traveling. You know, the actual […]

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombus of Radio America celebrate the Supreme Court upholding the Constitution in two separate cases. They agree with the court’s conclusion that President Trump’s travel ban is within his constitutional and statutory right. They are also glad to see the Court side with free speech in striking down a California law that required crisis pregnancy centers to advertise abortion services. They are also pleasantly surprised that Democratic leaders are condemning Maxine Waters’ calls for the harassment of Trump administration officials.

PornHub likes to talk about itself. Whether or not its stories are true are up to you to decide. On Wednesday the purveyor of adult “entertainment” released a chart showing their traffic statistics from last Saturday’s false incoming missile alert fiasco. (Insert premature button pushing joke here.) Shortly after the alert was issued thousands of […]

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America get a big kick out of Democrats insisting there are no real real benefits for the middle class in the recent tax bill – even as company after company publicly announces higher wages, new jobs, and bonuses.  They also shake their heads as emergency official in Hawaii create a major mess by trying to run a missile alert drill and send out an actual missile alert instead.  And they sigh as convicted military leaker and felon Bradley Manning, who now identifies as a woman named Chelsea, runs for the U.S. Senate in Maryland.

I guess you heard about the false missle alarm that went off in Hawaii (a wrong button pushed). The screenshot is something one of the stories showed …and notice the great response to an “expressive” post by a liberal actress. However the great answer that followed had a far lower number of comments and likes. […]

Following criticism of his seeming insensitivity to the largest terror attack on U.S. soil since 9/11, Barack Obama is reluctantly making a brief pit stop in San Bernardino to express scripted condolences before continuing his flight to a 5-star multi-million dollar vacation in Hawaii. Based on his previous comments about the slaughter, we expect him […]

One of Tuesday’s Big Winners: Science

See what I did there in the headline? If I’ve learned anything about modern political communications, it’s that the use of “Science” as a proper noun ends any and all arguments decisively in favor of the speaker. While Ezra Klein is declaring that the biggest loser in this year’s election was the climate (because Ezra Klein is a person who’s paid handsomely to be wrong in print), I’m actually much more bullish about the scientific literacy of voters. Why? Because of this bit of good news from two unlikely places. As reported by NPR:

An effort to label genetically modified foods in Colorado failed to garner enough support Tuesday. It’s the latest of several state-based GMO labeling ballot measures to fail. A similar measure in Oregon was also defeated by a narrow margin.
