With the release of the “Memo” today, I watched the NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, to see how it was covered. The top story was brief with a quick, uninformative overview, followed by protests and rebuttals by the Democrats. They stated “inaccuracies” in the memo and a “one-sided” view of its contents, and that […]

Need a break from the memo frenzy? Have some martinis with us! Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America get a kick out of seeing the Democratic National Committee with less than half a million dollars on hand heading into the midterms while Republicans have $40 million ready to go. They […]

Get Woke, Go Broke: Democratic National Committee Version

“When the enemy is making a false movement, we must take good care not to interrupt him.” — Napoleon Bonaparte

If you watch CNN or MSNBC, you would think that Trump is on the verge of collapse and that the forces of (social) justice and (social) good (aka, the Democratic Party) are going to swoop down annnnnnny second now and free us from his evil grasp.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America enjoy learning that the Democratic National Committee is still mired in chaos and that the liberal establishment and the Bernie Sanders supporters are still feuding more than a year after the 2016 campaign and just months before the midterm elections. They also groan as […]

Somedays, There Is Just Not Enough Popcorn in the World

Popcorn, anyone?Donna Brazile is obviously trying to position herself as The Only Honest Wo(man) In Washington with this tell-all article in Politico which reveals just how unethical, immoral and quite possibly illegal the 2016 Clinton campaign really was.

“Officials from Hillary’s campaign had taken a look at the DNC’s books. Obama left the party $24 million in debt—$15 million in bank debt and more than $8 million owed to vendors after the 2012 campaign and had been paying that off very slowly. Obama’s campaign was not scheduled to pay it off until 2016. Hillary for America (the campaign) and the Hillary Victory Fund (its joint fundraising vehicle with the DNC) had taken care of 80 percent of the remaining debt in 2016, about $10 million, and had placed the party on an allowance.”

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America give President Trump credit for admitting his Afghanistan policy changes go against his instincts, and they also like some of the other changes he outlined in a policy with few good options. They also enjoy seeing the woeful fundraising totals for the DNC in […]

The Mainstream Media Can’t Be Bothered with Silliness

Reporting on a 13-month-old story is always difficult, as most people have moved on in their lives. Sometimes I believe that is exactly why the Federal Government takes so long to process Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests, especially ones being requested from the Right side of the political spectrum.

So, let’s travel back to June of 2016. Hillary was in big trouble over emails and servers and whatnot, and it could potentially result in the end of her Presidential campaign if indictments were handed down by the Department of Justice. This all depended on what the FBI had to say about it, courtesy of a certain Director named James Comey.

DNC Admits Rigging Primary, GOP Flops on Spending, Trump’s Maybes

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America get a kick out of the Democratic National Committee arguing in court that it can’t be sued for fraud because everyone knew the 2016 nomination process was rigged. They also grumble at Republicans for giving the Democrats virtually everything they wanted on the latest spending bill. And they express frustration with the media for running breathless headlines every time Pres. Trump says he’s considering something, but they also wonder what other things they could get Trump to publicly mull over.

Dem Money Dilemma, Berkeley Buckles Again, Left’s Red Scare

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America discuss the pressure mounting on the Democratic National Committee to spend big on every special House election, despite long odds in most of them. They also unload on University of California-Berkeley administrators for cancelling a speech by Ann Coulter over security concerns instead of cracking down on students and faculty threatening to disrupt the event. And they address the latest twist in leftist conspiracy theories, as liberals contend Rep. Jason Chaffetz decided not to seek re-election because he’s being blackmailed by Russia.

Obama’s Many Scandals, FBI Drops the Ball…Again, DNC Thwarted Hacking Probe

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America applaud Mark Hemingway of “The Weekly Standard” for shredding the ridiculous notion that the Obama administration has been scandal-free. They also unload on the FBI for doing nothing after the man who later became the Ft. Lauderdale airport terrorist came to them and said his mind was being controlled by U.S. intelligence agencies. And they highlight the FBI revelation that the Democratic National Committee refused to allow agents to inspect their servers after they suspected they had been hacked.

2018 Senate Map, Usual Suspect in Berlin, Dems’ Odd Ellison Opposition

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America react to a Washington Post report suggesting the 2018 Senate map gives the Republicans a chance to hold a 60-seat majority. They also shudder as German authorities confirm they’re looking for a Tunisian asylum seeker as the one responsible for the Berlin terrorist attack. And they scratch their heads over the reasons some Democrats are giving for opposing Keith Ellison as the next DNC chairman, instead of the really glaring reasons he would be a terrible choice.
