The moral collapse of supposedly patriotic Americans and supposedly faithful Christians in the face of leftist identity politics has been dismaying. It should not have been unexpected. Read the Good Book and you will find fair weather followers and leaders from cover to cover. What is exceptional, what becomes remarkable because it stands in stark […]

Don't be Chikin Fill Red KettleIt took less than a generation for the corporate leadership of Chick-fil-A to turn on and spit in the face of its founder, S. Truett Cathy. The fast-food restaurant chain has thrived on the wallets of Bible-believing Christians who responded to the secular supremacist left’s boycott with a buycott that crushed and exposed the real economic weakness of the radical left. Now, however, the non-Truett family president and COO has attacked the core customer base to score social credit with his business elite peers, funding luxury beliefs at the direct expense of the least, the last, the poorest among us. Every Bible-believing Christian, and everyone of goodwill, should respond with a new kind of buycott. Starting this Friday, and running until Christmas Day, the Nativity of Christ, don’t be chikin, give to the Salvation Army.

John Hinderaker, of PowerLine, explains Chick-fil-A’s cave to the Christian-hating left:

Election day, April 2nd, is rapidly approaching for the Wisconsin Supreme Court seat being vacated by the retiring Shirley Abrahamson. While the election is technically non-partisan, the lines are clearly drawn between Wisconsin Appeals Court Judge Brian Hagedorn and Wisconsin Appeals Court Judge Lisa Neubauer. Hagedorn has conservative (although see below) and strong law enforcement […]

Robert Byrd after filibustering 1964 Civil Rights Act.

Besides having announced his candidacy for president in 2020, Senator Cory Booker has called on the U.S. House of Representatives to designate lynching as a federal hate crime. Why? Because of an alleged incident involving the gay black actor Jussie Smollett, who stars in the TV series “Empire.”

Liberty Counsel has called for a provision in the bill, passed by the Senate in December, under unanimous consent, to be removed. That provision is claimed to create a federal protected category of gender identity and sexual orientation, prelude to using this category, through the 14th Amendment, to gut the 1st Amendment. Indeed, the left has shown its hand already, smearing Liberty Counsel as an “Evangelical ‘hate group.'”

It’s not news to describe the Left as anti-religion. But they seem to be unabashedly attacking Christians and Jews more often with little criticism from their own members. Still, some people from the Right are not afraid to speak up. Although Ben Sasse is often criticized for his comments on Donald Trump, his call for the support of religious freedom was admirable.

Senator Ben Sasse called out his fellow Senators on blatantly using a religious test to interview Brian Buescher, nominee for U.S. District Judge for the District of Nebraska. Mr. Buescher was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and he was disparaged for his membership by Senators Kamala Harris and Maizie Hirono. Senator Sasse wasn’t going to stand for it, and called for a Senate resolution:

I don’t know how many of you watch the HBO series “Silicon Valley,” but they did a nice job in last week’s episode targeting the bigotry of the mostly progressive tech sector. Pied Piper, the company at the center of the show’s narrative, was assembling a collection of partner companies who would participate in the […]

Christian Adams at PJ Media sounded the alarm on the shocking re-nomination of radical anti-Christian EEOC commissioner Chai Feldblum. Some Republicans, apparently including some inside the White House, think it’s fine to put an activist radical on the EEOC in order to get two more Republicans confirmed to the EEOC. Preview Open

Tonight’s national news segment once again, showed another bomb threat called into Jewish Centers across the United States. This has been, alarmingly, almost a nightly event.More evacuations, fear, questions with no answers, as of yet. I thought I heard this was the act of one deranged person who was apprehended, yet it continues? Christians are […]

Alliance Defending Freedom sued Georgia Gwinnett College Monday on behalf of Chike Uzuegbunam, a student who sought to politely share his faith on campus. Despite jumping through several unconstitutional hoops in order to get permission to speak, Chike was nonetheless accused of “disorderly conduct.”

It is time for an update on the worldwide jihad of Muslim attacks on Christians. If you have been relying on mass media to keep you informed, then there is a lot that you just don’t know. This is an ongoing story that our Leftist mass media have shown no interest in conveying to Americans, […]

Christmas is coming, as I see from displays in retail stores. Last year, Paddy Siochan put up a nice post to take issue with some of the anti-Christian tall tales that make the rounds every Christmas. He said that, because some of these will be recycled again by the lamestream media and on the internet, […]
