Contributor Post Created with Sketch. Recommended by Ricochet Members Created with Sketch. Durham and Barr Must Begin Prosecutions Now

barr durhamPresident Trump rightly commuted Roger Stone’s politically motivated and decided conviction and sentence. John Durham and Attorney General Barr’s excuse of “pandemic” was stripped away the very first day of leftist mass street protests. If thousands and tens of thousands can march and shout slogans shoulder to shoulder, John Durham can interview every stinking witness and suspect and can present his case to a grand jury which most certainly can “safely” meet.

This is all a leftist and deep state ruse. It is deception by the supposedly straight-arrow Barr. If they will not indict now, if they delay until after the election, then they are enemies of the Constitution. They are, in fact, hoping for Biden to win or at least for a House and Senate in Democrats hands so they can avoid the enormous pain actually challenging the deep state, the uniparty in Washington with the media and economic elite wings of the statist establishment.

This Friday, President Trump signed an executive order on the protection of monuments and directing enforcement against criminal violence. This accords with what Attorney General Barr has described in the past few days, and President Trump’s comments Thursday. President Trump does not gin these up in the Oval Office. Consider for yourself what this latest […]

Contributor Post Created with Sketch. Attorney General Barr warns of “totalitarian democracy”

Attorney General Bill Barr

Attorney General Barr gave another important, if willfully underreported, speech. The full text is posted on the Department of Justice website. You can read every word below, with key passages highlighted.

These two visions are liberal democracy and totalitarian democracy. He then showed how three powerful checks on tyranny have been weakened or turned to the service of consolidating power in a national elite. Attorney General Barr concluded with a note of optimism and a call to action.

It is refreshing to have the head of federal law enforcement clearly speak uncomfortable truths that are politically indelicate. Our good friends, the Saudis, sent us a group of their best and brightest with pro-jihadist, anti-American feelings strong enough to overcome any discretion in their social media habits. At the same time, the killer acted without the clear support of the other students, and the Saudi government recalled all the questionable officers, to be dealt with in their own military justice system.

This must be the cry the Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats are trying to stifle, following the hearing with Attorney General William Barr. While they can’t miss the fact that their whole case for taking down Donald Trump is crumbling, they are desperate to try to maintain their image of righteousness behind the curtain. But the curtain is slowly being drawn back, and I think they are realizing that they are all in deep trouble. In their collusion to destroy Donald Trump, they have ensured their own destruction, in part because they have underestimated AG Barr.

Most of us learned what we needed to know from AG William Barr in his four-page memo on the Mueller Report. The detailed 400-page Report, that Democrats are threatening to subpoena in its entirety, will likely have nothing surprising, as far as Republicans and Conservatives expect. But that will not stop the Democrats from nitpicking […]
