They’re hiding in Phil’s beard.
Looks roomy.
Just tweeted from @RicochetEJHill
Pajama Boy has been outed as Ethan Krupp, an Organizing for America employee. Not only a metrosexual liberal but a Cubs fan. This just gets worse and worse…

So his eyebrows aren’t naturally arched like that?

The only way it could get worse: if Ethan Krupp is revealed to be an assumed name for Steve Bartman.
And Krupp is Rachel Maddow’s little brother…
How interesting to hear people who don’t appear to even know Phil Robertson’s name or anything about him or his family discuss the ginned up kerfuffle of the day. Wow.
This was one of the funniest podcasts y’all have done. Many thanks. Oh, and D.C. has a great speaking voice.
If God proved his existence through the creation of life, he proved his goodness through the creation of Southerners.
Agreed on D.C. I’d pay extra on my membership if it went to having her write at least one post per day.
You all admitted that you hadn’t read anything about what Mr. Robertson actually said in the GQ interview, and yet included it as a part of your show today, I assume because it’s “in the news,” but seriously, you couldn’t take five minutes out of your busy schedules to read a single article? Shame on you. And yes, I am judging you.
Thats not right. Hes the guy on Big bang theory.
Someone said the picture was of Ezra Klein’s visit to the Playboy Mansion.
Hooking your kid up to a car battery TROY? Kinda dark ….. I like it
We are going to enjoy a Ricochet Christmas.
Do you mean the Ricochet podcasters, or the twitter/facebook hand-wringers? If the former, I think discussion of the kerfuffle itself shouldn’t necessarily require knowledge of the man’s family. Why, I’ve even got an opinion and I’ve never once seen the program. And yes, a friend IMed me this morning and the conversation was something like:
Followed by a whole conversation about liberal hypocrisy. I don’t think much more in-depth knowledge is really necessary. Haven’t listened to the podcast, yet, but I imagine the guys have a pretty good take – they generally do.

For what it’s worth, I watch Duck Dynasty all the time. My daughters are 9 & 11 and it’s one of the few shows we can watch as a family. And Phil is my favorite “character,” if that’s the right word.
Did I say that? I heard Medved read the entire chunk of the interview.

So you haven’t listened yet to Peter and Rob on the subject they knew little to nothing about but disagree with me about their views on a show you admit you’ve never seen.
Got it.
Merry Christmas!

I was referring to Peter & Rob. James facilitated a discussion by them in the first few minutes of the podcast. I’m sorry I wasn’t clearer in my original comment.
While all of this stuff was raging last night Phil was ministering to a young woman with cancer at their church in West Monroe. It’s just odd to hear people you respect talk about Mr. Robertson as if he’s Snooki Boo Boo or someone.

My goodness, Mr. Dart. I can see that you feel strongly about this issue… But my disagreement with you was not on their views, it was on your seeming assertion that a person cannot say anything meaningful about a controversy without being fully immersed. Your exact words are quoted above. The obvious sarcasm, and the “wow,” indicate that the guys could not possibly have anything meaningful to say. My only point was that I don’t think “knowledge about his family” is a prerequisite.
Is that an assertion with which you disagree?
Also, I find it kind of humorous that your points were both made with faux sincerity… sarcasm is fine, but kind of off putting in that context.

Don’t you think it would have been a bit more credible to simply have made this point in the first place, rather than chastising Peter and Rob for not already knowing this fact? How would they? They are commentators, and they comment on what they see… if you think they should know more, then bring it to their attention. I think a “hey, did you know this about the good Mr. Robinson” might have been a bit more effective than all the “oh, wow! suuuuuper great that you’re talking about someone you don’t even know… merry christmas!” stuff.

But the family is what the show is all about. Having an opinion about Phil without knowing Miss Kay, Willie, Jase, Jep, Al, Si, the kids and their faith, love, and togetherness is fine. Everybody can have an opinion.
The people and groups trying to destroy the Robertson family will fail. But, yes, for some reason this assault bothers me more than others in the past, Ryan. It hit a nerve.

Yes, I agree with you on that. But I don’t think Peter and Rob are out to destroy anyone’s family. I’m listening to the podcast right now, but so far it seems like they’re just as annoyed with this “business as usual” from the mainstream liberal media. Either way, I may ultimately disagree with what they think on the merits, but that won’t be because I think they’re underinformed, it will be because I think they’re simply wrong. :)
Will the onesie become fashionable? Obama in a Onesie.. That’s soo warm cocoa.. Once in a onesie, a long time ago.. There will be an end. Has to be..
I thought we were going to hear Troy finally opine about giraffes.
Pajamas? What are these garments you speak of? I remember them as a thing from my childhood, and perhaps that’s the point. Not a man in my family has owned a pair since age twelve.
For a half second at one point, I thought so too.

Ever seen that trick where a musician plays just a couple of bars of one of his hits as a head fake before segueing into something entirely different? Yeah, that was for you benighted souls.
