Ricochet is the best place on the internet to discuss the issues of the day, either through commenting on posts or writing your own for our active and dynamic community in a fully moderated environment. In addition, the Ricochet Audio Network offers over 50 original podcasts with new episodes released every day.
Ricochet Editor-in-Chief Jon Gabriel and Jim Sharpe welcome author and commentator David Limbaugh to discuss the Iowa Caucus, the New Hampshire primary, and the conservative movement in 2016.
And be sure to buy several copies of David’s latest book, The Emmaus Code: Finding Jesus in the Old Testament!
Please subscribe to the podcast here. Music is “Step On” by Happy Mondays. The Photoshop is Jon’s fault.

This one fails during iTunes Superfeed download. All seems to be going well until it’s just about complete, and then it stops. Tried five times. Each new attempt starts from the beginning.
I downloaded it using the Download button above. It turns out that the file is an MP3, but has the wrong file extension (WAV). Some of my software can work this out, but it’s likely that this is upsetting iTunes. When I downloaded it manually I could not get iTunes to recognise it, but when I renamed the file to .MP3 it would load up fine.
Thanks for figuring that out. I downloaded and thought it was strange that it was a WAV file instead of the usual MP3. It hadn’t occurred to me that it was just miss-named.
I’ve fixed it. Thanks.
Thanks Max. Works perfectly now.
I listened to this before going in to work today and credit it for my good mood all day. You guys are too funny and David is great as always. Keep it up. Oh, Jim, more heavy metal, please!
Nice podcast guys. It’s always nice to hear David Limbaugh show up to chat on Ricochet podcasts.
By the way, if you’re trying to up your podcast listening numbers, consider adding one of the old contributors here and there to see how it impacts your ratings. You both do a nice enough job, but there are a host of former podcasters or writers here that don’t seem to be around much any more. Adding some already familiar faces could boost your recognition by drawing in listeners who are tuning in for the familar.
I know Alan Korwin (www.gunlaws.com) is a Phoenix local, so maybe getting someone like him might be useful if he’s interested. I’d imagine there are others outside the realm of pure politics that are located in your general area who may also draw some interest too (Alice Cooper, Barrett / Jackson guys, etc.)
Thanks. Thought it was a wav, but struck me as small for its duration. Played in Media Player, but not on my little RCA mp3 player which I use moving snow around. (Actually I use a shovel– the player breaks up the monotony.) Changing the suffix did the trick.
I downloaded this just to hear David Limbaugh talk about his book and the research he did to write it. I did not listen so I could hear diatribes about St. Cruz.
BTW, remind David that Reagan signed Simpson-Mazzoli and TEFRA while president, and fled from Lebanon after a terrorist bombing without punishing the bombers. In California, he signed the country’s most permissive abortion bill.
“Liehole”- can I use that?
The calculating nature of the Cruz campaign is an asset. Not a liabilty. I cannot agree more on that.
Good attitude toward twitter, there, Mr. Limbaugh.
“Then give me your guitar.”- Exactly. Next time he says he doesn’t believe in private property, actually, physically take the thing from him. See what he does. Report. Just a suggestion.
Huckabee at least exited with good humour. Somewhat redemptive.
Good to hear O’Malley compared to Ralphie from the Simpsons. I laughed. A lot.
