    I never paid attention to Kanye West, but if he’s the sort of artist who samples King Crimson, then perhaps I should.

    Way back in high school, I tried making a multi-track saxophone cover of “21st Century Schizoid Man.” The result was . . . schizoid, naturally.

    I’ve never really got over the idea that sampling break beats can make you a ‘great’ musician. What about you know, the original composers?
