35 years ago, in 1985, President Reagan was frustrated with Congress’ reluctance to support freedom fighters who opposed totalitarian communistic rule in Central America. He believed their reluctance was a result of isolationist policies as a result of the war in Vietnam.     A very different time. Interesting how the lead Democrat candidate now can’t speak positively about what was considered abhorrent not so long ago.
