Great interview. I like the analogy of Robert Mueller being the FBI’s Forrest Gump, at the center of every major action in the agencies history over the past 30 years. I had heard bits and pieces of that in different news stories, its almost like he’s a composite character in a spy novel. The author is too lazy to invent a new FBI guy every time his spy is in trouble, so just has a generic character that he plugs into the plot.
Thanks. I generally stay away from the conspiracy crowd. John is a nice guy and makes some interesting points which I wasn’t aware of, but if you watched all the way through I didn’t hide my doubts that it was all mostly conjecture.

I liked how you handled the interview. You had your doubts, you wanted facts and sources cited. But the important part, is you let the man speak. I hate it with so many interviewers who’ll interrupt and debate during the interview. Good job.
The story he tells struck me as far-fetched. Milkovich flirts with Trutherism at times.
I don’t think anyone in authority knew in advance the details of the 911 plot. It’s much easier to see things in hindsight. Bureaucratic incompetence rather than conspiracy is a better explanation in many situations. It would be nice to see the unredacted passages about Saudi involvement. The Bush administration should not have allowed the Saudi citizens to leave right after 911 without being questioned.
Mueller could and should have vetoed the Uranium One deal. And he knew about many of the illegal activities of the intelligence agencies under Obama. As a close buddy of Comey, his conflicts of interest should have ruled out his current appointment.
Great interview and very thought-provoking. I’m very skeptical of the conspiracy crowd myself, but I’m glad you let him have his say.
