The reason people want socialism and they want to take stuff from the wealthy and the high earners is because of how the Fed and the financial system is structured. I heard a really good interview about this on Dan Proft last week. I will try to find it.
Two observations. They really are punitive about it. They want to use the tax code to be punitive. They want wealth confiscation which would absolutely tanked the economy. They also have no idea that the tax code is a terrible way to fix this. It can’t be done. All you have to do is look at how much money they are already taking from each tax bracket. It’s ridiculous. The high earners can’t cover anymore than they already are.

It’s very depressing when Republicans are naïve about the deep state. The last interview of John Solomon on Examining Politics is incredibly disturbing. Same thing with his interview with Lee Smith.
