This is a wonderful interview. For those Ricochetti who don’t know, honor killings also happen in Sikh communities. However, I must notice that honor killing happen in Christian and Sikh communities that have lived next door to Muslims for at least a century or two. To my knowledge, Christians in Latin America, China and the non-Muslims parts of Asia don’t commit honor killings like Arabic-Christians and Sikhs do. If I am wrong, please correct me.
Very interesting lady. I kept wondering during the interview whether she had any children. Today’s young women seem to think they can have it all with flexible hours, etc., but I’ve noticed with my own children that is a fantasy. Something has to give as there are only so many hours in a day. Hence, we are seeing fewer children being born, especially to professional women.
I hope she adopts then. She has good people skills for mom-stuff.
