Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are pleased to see conservative priorities in Pres. Trump’s budget, even though they concede the final appropriations will look nothing like this. They also shake their heads as John McCain accuses anyone opposing NATO membership for Montenegro of doing Vladimir Putin’s bidding. And they react to a tweet from the McDonald’s account that slams Pres. Trump.

John McCain and Evan McMullin, two Republicans National Review has supported/enabled. Don’t pretend now you didn’t do that.

That was before McCain went flat-out insane. I think the man needs to resign; he’s having some kind of mental breakdown.

“Twitter notified us that our account was compromised.” Why would they have to be notified by Twitter? Shouldn’t everyone at McDonalds who sees the tweet know there is something wrong without Twitter telling them?

On substance, John McCain is right. The Russians were involved in a coup against a legitimate government in Montenegro last year. Russia sees Serbia as their turf, and the rest of the Balkans as an extension of that. Putin is playing offense. Maybe we should, too.

Every single time I hear the commercial, it sounds like “you can screen the candidates and rape them…”
