Kurt Schlichter Tony Katz Stephen Kruiser Tracked TargetedDirect link to MP3 file

Tired of the government tracking conservatives and exhausted by the media targeting conservatives, this new podcast flips the model.

Stephen Kruiser, Tony Katz, and Kurt Schlichter launch “Tracked and Targeted” to focus the conversation on the institutions that are doing the most damage to America: Government, academia, and the media. No aspect of our culture is safe from their Hellfire missles of analysis.

There are no bow ties, blue blazers, or white papers on this show. But if you have an appetite for red meat, this is the podcasting equivalent of an all-you-can-eat pass. Belly up, Ricochet.

In the A Block of this episode we meet the hosts and get acquainted with their compulsive instinct to spell their names. We also learn that Tony lives in America, while Kurt and Stephen live in Los Angeles.

In the B Block we try to talk about the NFL’s Ray Rice debacle and the fact that the National Organization of Women wants Roger Goodell’s head.

The C Block takes us across the pond where William Wallace’s vision for an independent Scotland may be a week away from becoming a reality. Why is this a bad thing for America? Schlichter has the the answer.

In future episodes the D Block will be where we talk about listener comments and questions (so put some good ones in the comment section). But in the inaugural episode of Tracked and Targeted, we try to get to the bottom of why Hollywood’s box office numbers are plummeting.

Love it? Hate it? Let us know.

Vegas put the opening line on COC violations at 8.5 per episode. Call your bookie early and place your bets on the Over-Under for next week’s show.

I’ve always loved me some Schlichter Rants on NRA News. But the big question here is:

KRUISER – WILL THERE BE WIPES ?!

That’s it! All possible centre-right tendencies and tastes are now covered by one Ricochet podcast or another. T&T is the last piece in the puzzle.

There was some funny stuff, especially about scotland’s referendum.

But Guys were acting too manly, and one of them sounded a bit gay. Be genuine.

At first I was worried that complete ignorance of the topics you guys were discussing would be limiting for you all, instead it seemed to be liberating. Way to turn a potential negative into a positive, well done, gentlemen!

I know there is major site work ongoing today, but does that involve the disappearance of the download links for the podcasts?

Goodell is a hard figure to pin down. He came in after Tagliabue’s disastrous tenure (as far as player discipline and the league’s criminal image were concerned) and brought the hammer down on players. Once that standard was set, he became more lax while still being sterner than Tags was. The best explanation I’ve heard for how he rules is that he’s more concerned with the league’s image than consistency so he does what is necessary to make the problem go away. Problem not making national headlines? Don’t come down too hard on it to draw more attention to it. PR in the tank? Nuke it from orbit. It’s made recent decisions look very knee-jerk and weakened his reputation.

Liked the new podcast! Funny dudes. One comment on why Republicans are not funny on when on the air. I think it is becuse they know they will get less slack. When telling jokes, you are pushing the edge or what is appropriate. Dems get a pass when the go over the line. Repubs, not so much. If you try and be funny on a regular basis, you will shortly find yourself in deep trouble if you are conservative….

Zzzz. An unfunny poor man’s GLoP Culture podcast. Anymore, I don’t like the Cowboys, and I think Romo is a choke artist. But the incessant gag about his sexuality seemed childish. Schlicter’s mention of his model wife seemed childish, too. I won’t be back. But judging from responses above, others will.

Smarter conversation and–believe it or not–better humor on the Flagship, GLoP, Need to Know, and Law Talk. While complaining, bring back the Hemingways.

Seriously, Ricochet: Who came up with the idea for this podcast?

This was a very pleasant surprise in my Member Super Feed — probably due to the Animal House and Caddyshack quotes, both before the 12:00 mark!

In all seriousness, Tony, Stephen, and Kurt are following Andrew Breitbart’s advice to (1) address conservatism in the culture, not just on the campaign trail; and (2) fight back – hard – against the Left. I enjoyed the initial Tracked & Targeted and am looking forward to many more.
