Wrap up this crazy, eventful week with the Friday Three Martini Lunch. Jim and Greg start with a quick cheer for the January jobs report before moving on to the three main discussions of the day. First, they get a kick out of Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono telling CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that President Trump wasn’t really acquitted and Blitzer pointing out in detail that, in fact,  Trump really was found not guilty. They also celebrate the intelligence and military precision that combined to target and kill Qassim al-Rimi, the leader of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. And Jim unleashes a devastating rant against now former Republican presidential candidate Joe Walsh, who has now flip-flopped to the point where he vows to vote for whoever wins the Democratic nomination, even if it’s an avowed socialist.

I guess Qassim al-Rimi is more proof everything Trump touches dies.

After being given a warm embrace by the Mean Girl Republicans as a once ardent Trumpist, former one term Congressman, barely syndicated Conservative radio host, saw the light (or shall I say darkness) and became an avowed Never and got it into his bloated D-list radio celebrity head that he would primary Trump for the (R) Presidential nomination.

Now it should have been quite evident to anyone who ever bothered to do even a little due diligence on Joe Walsh, that Joe is a self promoting knucklehead …. nice enough guy mind you …. but an A-list knucklehead.

But in the end he got his mug on CNN and who knows maybe CNN will find a spot for Joe on their roster as another one of their highly credible Republican Contributors like David Frum or Ana Navarro.

Jim was on fire today. Although there was one statement that was slightly off. King’s can be impeached. Just ask old Charles I.

He was proof that being king was fine as long as you don’t lose your head over it.

But since “Jim Geraghty is always wrong” ((c)Taras) that means Joe Walsh is actually the ideal American and should be President TOMORROW.

Duh!  Jim Geraghty is wrong — to think a buffoon like Joe Walsh is worth talking about in the first place.

Or maybe he went mad, and then he went away.

Ah, Joe Walsh. He can’t complain, but sometimes he still does. Life’s been good to him so far.
