Former federal prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy is in for Jim agai today. Andy and Greg break down the four-part Washington Examiner investigation into the Hunter Biden laptop and everything that’s been uncovered thus far. They also discuss the push for red flag laws and the tension between trying to keep truly unstable people away from weapons that they might use to kill others and the desire to protect second amendment rights. And they fume over how Democrats make a lot of noise about the need to address various problems but won’t allow any ideas to be considered outside of their absolutist left-wing agenda.

Haven’t listened yet, assume you address this, but it’s just wrong to do unpacking without Jim.

I think you may have missed the joke.  Jim is the one who regularly says “there’s a lot to unpack here.”

If I knew that, I would feel I was listening to TML too much!

I was just looking for a tactful way to say, Give us more Andrew …

I dunno, Andy has his own problems.  Such as repeatedly calling the FBI etc straight-up and honest, no matter how many times he sees it disproven.

The old Andrew would never have described the Democrat-run justice system as two-tiered, with friends getting a tap on the wrist while opponents have the book thrown at them — as the new Andrew describes it here.

I’ll maybe believe it if he ever comes out and says “the FBI and DOJ are corrupt for sure now, and probably have been for a long time even while I was there but didn’t realize it.”

He would probably say that the FBI and Justice have gone downhill in the 20 years since he left, as old-style liberals were gradually replaced by progressives and treason fantasies about Trump began to spread.
