When did lounge pants become a thing?
When tech startups nuked Business Casual.
I was in my cave before then, I guess.
I was closing in on the end of the podcast, when almost at the last minute Jim came through …
Remember, Jim Geraghty is always wrong.
He criticizes people on Twitter for their schadenfreude about CNN’s building being attacked by a mob, and accuses those people of excessive partisanship.
More like poetic justice: CNN has promulgated the false “black lives matter“ narrative for years.
As Heather MacDonald ceaselessly explains, this ain’t 1955 no more. Black suspects are not treated with excessive severity by the police, nationwide, but rather with especial circumspection which white suspects don’t receive.
The reasons should be pretty obvious, especially right now: when was the last time the killing of a white suspect led to nationwide rioting. Or a Federal investigation. Or murder and hate crimes charges against policemen.
Of note, this podcast was not on my Apple Podcast app today.
