Join Greg and Rob Long as they try to figure out exactly what’s causing hundreds of Southwest Airlines flights to be cancelled for the third day in a row. The airline is clearly lying but is this resistance to the vaccine mandate or something else? And if it is about the mandates, what happens next? They also shudder as the Biden administration joins most other countries in supporting a global minimum tax for corporations. And they cry foul as some Virginia Democrats look to loosen absentee voter requirements now that the Virginia governor’s race might not be going their way. They also touch on Columbus Day and the latest insane law in California.

The fundamental truth for Rob is that Trump supporters are unbalanced and the real problem with Democrats abusing power is it might make Trump supporters seem more sane.

I miss The Three Martini Lunch.  Please stop advertising My Pillow products.  I won’t patronize the TML as long as you accept ads from My Pillow.

If  you don’t realize that just LISTENING TO the podcast doesn’t somehow put money in My Pillow’s pockets, by all means stay away.  You won’t be missed.

I still find The Three Martini Lunch a great listen so I just shrug when it comes time for the My Pillow ads. I listen on my Mac and have discovered that by tapping to arrow key one can fast-forward through the ads. Anyway, Mike Lindell is going to have to sell an awful lot of pillows and sheets to come up with the money that Dominion is going to extract if and when they win their lawsuit. The last figure I heard was $1.3 billion. To prevail in court Mr. Lindell will have to prove his charges, not merely assert. Should be loads of fun.

@roblong is wrong (as usual) about the Arizona audit supposedly proving that Biden legitimately won.

Surprisingly he got the shot mandates mostly right by not caring if the pilots have their shots since he’s had his. Maybe he can talk some sense into his GLoP partners.

Maybe someone hasn’t reminded him yet that vaccinated people can still get covid (again), and can still pass it to others.  He might change his tune.

Got to that part. Democrats are going to steal another election but the real problem is it will validate Trump. Can’t have that my good man.

I think Rob migrated again, Greg.  To New Orleans.  Or at least he said he was going to.

Guilty until proven innocent?  Not in the U.S.

Dominion has to prove Lindell either knowingly lied or is guilty of “reckless disregard of the truth”.  As Lindell appears to be an honest crackpot, this could be difficult.  Unless the judge is a progressive, of course, and doesn’t care if he’s guilty or not.

Estimates of Lindell’s wealth range from $100 million to $330 million, mostly toward the higher end.  Even if he loses, the penalty is likely to be easily within his reach.  The $1.3 billion figure is not real.

Incidentally, wishing him ill makes you look bad.

I rarely listen to TML these days. I’m tired of Jim Geraghty’s prosing on and on, even aside from the fact that “Jim Geraghty is always wrong” ™.
