Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America discuss the news that Virginia Democratic Rep. Bobby Scott knew about the allegation against now-Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax before Fairfax took office.  They also react to former staffers unloading on 2020 Democratic hopeful and Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar over her alleged cruelty and constant criticism.  And they marvel at how slowly many Democrats are reacting to the political chaos in Virginia and conclude that none of the officials embroiled in controversy will actually resign.

    Jim and Greg,

You are making a serious mistake in continuing to talk about the alleged Northam black-face incident as though it were significant.  You are applying the woke, Social Justice Wienie standard that no politically incorrect action in history can ever be forgiven, forgotten, and grown past.  The shame of the hysterical outrage about the long-ago allegations against Roy Moore, Brett Kavanaugh, and so forth has been that true or not, even criminal or not, they concerned things that happened more than a generation ago, and there is no indication the alleged behavior has anything to do with the man at the present time.  They should never have been an issue.

You should castigate Northam for his casual promotion of infanticide and refer to the preposterous racism charges only to denigrate them as irrelevant.

JMO, Klobuchar doesn’t really want to be POTUS. She never, ever does anything substantive.
